Fabric could be a little stiffer so it's not as baggy around the top of the footalso you need better color options that reflect the website's showing betterthe other colors were ugly and this color really doesn't match the websites picture but I just kinda felt with the color I received because it wasn't horriblestill a solid boot tho

They run small. Go a half size up. But they are comfy and warm once you get the sizing correct.

Was looking for a nice casual winter boot to keep my feet warm and dry while out on walks. These are a good quality, nice boot the only draw back, which a lot of the reviews say, is that they are very narrow in the toe box. I ordered a half size up to compensate but maybe I should have ordered a full size up. Normally I wear a 9.5 so I ordered a 10. Even with thin socks, these were tight and a little too painful after my first few walks. I ended up taking the bottom insert out and actually, I could get away with a thicker winter sock, so maybe not too uncomfortable. Again, good quality, stylish, I love the moss color, would have given them five stars if not for the tight fit, but that was an easy fix with the removal of the insert. These should handle the Pennsylvania winter pretty nicely.

Good looking boot - just didn't fit my wide foot.

Too bad these are not available in wide widths, because they seem good quality and are more stylish than similar waterproof winter boots, but sadly they are too narrow for a comfortable fit.

Great boot overall. Runs a bit small so we ordered up a half size. It is a bit narrow right at the bottom of the laces, but ordering up a half size fixed that. Warm and waterproof. We are taking these to Italy for a winter trip.

Finally had a chance to put these on as the weather had not permitted me to do so previously. They are very comfortable and a great feel/fit on the foot. I love the warm feeling inside of the boot and it does a great job keeping moisture out. I would recommend anyone looking for a good winterized boot to take a good hard look at these.

These boots are warm, waterproof, and have a fair amount of tread which makes them ideal for a more rugged lifestyle. The rubber tread is good for most surfaces and the weatherproofing is great for the unpredictable weather in the Pacific Northwest. They run a little narrow, I do not have wide feet, but in these I wish I had chosen a wide shoe. They are warm but the narrowness makes them less ideal. We haven't had snow yet this season, but they seem well insulated to handle that.

My first impression of the Men's Sorel Explorer Boot was how lightweight it was. It felt even lighter than a typical pair of sneakers! The boot lining is some sort of velvet or felt and quite soft. It isn't rigid and doesn't seem to have much structure or support. I have narrow feet, and the sizing still felt small to me. I would definitely recommend going up half or a full size. They did feel comfortable wearing, and I did not feel like I had to "break it in." It's been a rather mellow winter so far where I live, so I haven't had the opportunity to test during heavy snowstorms, but it has held up thus far to rain, slush and wetter conditions. Because of the inner lining, it keeps my feet warm and snug. I'm would say I'm indifferent to this design. I had higher hopes for a sneaker-boot hybrid, but the look, feel, and functionality left more to be desired.

Overall I love this boot! First off, i'm surprised at how light and versatile this boot is. It has a decent amount of ankle support while still being flexible. The construction looks and feels great. The lining is perfect for this colder weather change as well. Unfortunately for me, I have wide feet and the toe box to tight for comfort. If it wasn't for that, these boots would be my daily shoes for sure!

They look nice. The warmth level is good for fall and spring, but I don't think it will do as well for winter in New England. They fit a little small and pinch around the top of my foot a bit - I think because the upper part of the boot doesn't have a lot of structure to it.

These are fine but the color selections for size 8 & up are drab. These same boots are sold to boys sizes only up to 7, which my 9 year old is. And those boots have a few fun pops of color to make them edgy. Then once a boy gets to size 8 and up, which my 11 year old is~ The only option for snow boots are drab simple colors. There's a market here, Sorel~ to make tween size snow boots in more fun color varieties.

I settled for this model because while I like the quality of your boots, I'm utterly disappointed in the styling for the men's boots. Woman's boots get far more consideration and style points. You guys really need to step it up for the guys.

These boots seem to be fairly well-made for the price but haven't worn much more than a week of casual wear. If I hadn't got them on clearance I would've been disappointed. The amount of insulation is good for a lightweight boot. The fit is much much narrower and smaller than other same-size Sorels I have. Their removable insoles are thin and don't seem to really fit the boots correctly. I replaced with Superfeet insoles (like I do for most inexpensive shoes) and that makes these new boots acceptably comfortable

Great quality, super comfortable and I love the design. However, very difficult to put on and I will never understand why manufacturers put on smooth laces that constantly come undone, very annoying.

Decent shoe, but the color varied wildly from the Zappos web site ( I have a very good monitor.) The shoe is more of a light sage color than tobacco brown or tan.

I ordered a half size up from my normal size and my foot felt squished in the toe area. I have somewhat wide feet, but am able to wear normal width in most shoe styles/brands. My foot was incredibly uncomfortable across my forefoot and toes. I walked around in the house in them to see if I could handle spending time to break them in, but my foot hurt so I decided to return them. If you have narrow feet, you’ll probably be fine, but these aren’t meant for people with an even moderately wide food, even if you order a size up. They look amazing and are very stylish, so I’ll give them that.

Great looking shoe but very narrow in the toe box. Sized up to 11.5 (normally wear an 11) but still just too tight. Toes were all crammed together.

I typically wear a 14. These felt constricting, especially in the toe box. That was also wearing a thinner sock than I would intend to wear with these boots (using for wintery conditions) I would recommend going up one size for these. Otherwise they felt sturdy and warm, just too narrow for me.

Only lasted about a year. They were comfortable and warm, but after about a year (just past warranty) they were no longer water proof even just walking on wet ground.

This boot runs small and very narrow, I wear a woman's size 7 and thought if I bought a men's size 7 it would be large (wide) enough to accommodate a heavier pair of socks. I tried them on without any socks and they were so tight they hurt. Can't imagine a man with a medium width foot even getting these on.

They look great. Very light. However, they are way too narrow. I got one size up and my foot still doesnt fit. These are winter boots. Im supposed to wear them with thick socks. And my foot is not even too wide. My food width would be considered average. Who are you making these for? 6 year old kids? Please make them wider.
