Ive been using these shoes on a business trip overseas where Ive also worn them for my time sightseeing. A couple of days I spent over 8 hours standing at a trade show. Ive logged at least 10k steps over the last 10 days hitting a peak of over 28k steps just a few days ago. I have not felt any sore feet at all through out this activity. I also wear orthotics for my flat feet. So I would give high marks for comfort. These also go well with my casual work attire. Ive also experienced lots of rainy weather. These shoes hold up well with the wet, cold weather. I carry with me a brush for my shoes. They definitely need a brushing to bring the leather back to a uniform look and color. Couple of critiques on the shoes. With wet weather, the soles become slippery against metal like a grate on the side walk for example. On pavement or stone no issues. Second, with only the four lace holes at the top of the shoe, I found that noticeable pressure was applied to the ankle area even with a snug tightening of the laces. There are no laces above the foot, so if you dont want to feel your foot move around in the shoe, you need the snug pull on the laces, but then it seems to dig into the ankle. One other thing to note, if you tend to get sweaty feet, just know that these do not breathe. They are leather. So after a long day, youll feel the moisture in your socks. I did observe that for the size of shoe I normally where, I needed to go a full size down (11.5 to 10.5). Overall a great show for me after these two weeks on the road. I would absolutely recommend them. Cant give a 5 star review because of what I mentioned above, but would give a solid 4.5 easily.

I bought these less than a month ago. They are super comfortable but the glue on the sole is delaminated and falling apart. At this rate at 150.00 I just might get 2 months out of them. I decided to try something different and have heard great things about Ariat.

Once a year I spend 20+ hours trying on shoes. It's a miserable week but I have "barefoot" shaped feet that hate shoes and I work on concrete 50+ hours every week. The past several years I'd found absolutely nothing that worked. However this year I found these Ariat Spitfire waterproof. I absolutely love these shoes. (and yes I refer to them as shoes not boots.) It's the foot comfort / durability of a boot except it doesn't go up my leg. As someone who's always hot, this is a huge upside to me. They are annoying to put on, but I've found that to be fairly standard for any shoe that actually fits me comfortably. In the size that fits me best there's also a slight amount more heel wiggle than I'd prefer due to only having 2 lace holes. That said, though, these spitfires are currently my favorite low top work shoe that I've found in the past 15+ years.

These are very comfortable and look quite good, but, they are strangely long. Every shoe or boot I wear is a 10.5 but this brand's 10.5 is so long that there are possibly 1.5-2in of extra toe space. Still wearable, but the sizing is odd especially because the width and height fit are just fine. Next time I would try sizing down.

These shoes would be way better if they were about an inch or so higher on my ankle. Seem to be well made, though. Light weight. Should also make a smooth toe version, because the Mock Toe Stitching is a way for water to get in, No Matter how waterproof you say they are!

Ordered these shoes on 4/29/25 and have only worn a month. The rubber around the front of the shoe is already coming unglued as of 6/10/25. Very expensive shoes to last a month. So disappointed in this shoe and brand.
