I have now owned these boots for a year and they're great every day boots. I normally wear them 12-14 hours a day and are very comfortable walking around and standing for long periods of time from day one til now. They have been through rain and snow and my feet have never gotten wet. Boots are well except the veneer leather on the heels. They just gave up one day and leather just started to peel off. I really thought these boots would've lasted a lot longer than a year.

Got a pair of these for a trip to the European Christmas markets. When I first wore them a few day before they scraped the back of my ankle. It was only after googling that I came across information on Reddit and Ariat's own website that tells you that you must break in the boot before wearing. I did not see this on the product page. (May have missed it). Once I spent 30 min doing that, they performed flawlessly even in the rain. Would highly recommend!

I ordered the Ariat Wexford Waterproof Chelsea boots in a size 10 wide and they fit perfectly from the moment I put them on. The boots were packaged really nice also. So far I am definitely impressed and will buy another style of Ariat boots.

Great boots, waterproof and look good, just wish the heel compound was a bit tougher, easy repair but a bit of a pain.

Very pretty, so far durable and quite comfy. Solidly waterproof up to the mesh. Tread is a little firm, so it's a bit slippery on smooth wet surfaces.

I got these for Christmas and have been very happy with them. Love that they are waterproof for the winter season. I went hiking in them and standing all day and they are comfortable!

Overall fit is great for a casual and/or work boot (how I use these); no break-in required. Traction is excellent for how shallow the tread is. I wish the heal was slightly shorter for a smoother walk, and would like more arch support, but that's nothing inserts can't fix.

Great pair of boots if you do not have foot problems, not much cushion under pad of foot.

Nice boots. Have never been a boot guy except at work and they are lace up. These Wexford Chelseas are great. Comfortable and easy and sharp. The look and feel I was looking for. Who knew? I'm a boot guy after all. Overall a good experience.

I bought them about 2 weeks ago and not worn them a lot, they are very comfortable and very good looking boots but the heel of the right boot seems to be peeling away on the layer above the cork and rubber , has this happened to anyone else if not what should I do

Must have bought 5 pairs of these boots, they are excellent. You can walk through anything up to your ankle and your feet will still dry. The massive flaw with these boots is the heel unfortunately. If you walk on tarmac mostly like I do then you go through the heel very quickly, they are very soft and just seem to disintegrate over a few months. These are the most comfortable boot I have ever owned though

As a firefighter I'm on my feet a lot and the ease of putting the boots on as well as the comfort of the boot make the day better. Lightweight and waterproof are also big pluses.

Great boot. If I would've known I'd receive multiple emails per day from this company I would've selected another brand. Literally three per day minimum for the last month. Clearly you already had my business, go work on someone else.

Great boot! Fits very well and is comfortable. My only disappointment is that the boots are made it in China.

Not long received pulled them on and was impressed with how comfy they were from the start and warm but order a half size smaller than the normal size and could have done with another half size smaller (so full Uk size smaller than recommended according to hiking boots bought elsewhere and backed up that insoles in hiking boots and these are different lengths) but wore them outside without thinking but just adding different insoles and can see me wearing for years to come

Look great, well made, durable, but could have a better support insert. Kinda stiff 4.4

Comfortable, however, pull strap stitching broke after less than 15 days of wear, taking to shoe repair to restitch.

It's a comfortable boot that forms good to the foot, only problem is I wish the ankle area on the boot was just a little bit tighter so there isn't so much wiggle room walking around.

The boots are great overall. I wish they had wide sizes available though because I usually wear wide sizes and they aren't available with these and if they were they would fit perfect.

The most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned. Just a few weeks in and they fit like they were custom made. My only complaint is that the heels are mismatched - one has clearly defined layers while the other is nearly a solid color. I smoothed them out with some shoe polish, but it feels odd to have to do that every few days. Hopefully when they are worn in, the difference will be less noticeable.

I purchased these boots about 6 months ago and have worn them several times a week since then. They are comfortable and didn't need any break in, and I have done some good walking around in them. I haven't had any comfort issues at all. They also can supposedly be resoled through Ariat's partnership with a 3rd party, though I haven't got to that point yet. The issue that I have noticed is that there are two places that the stitching is coming undone, one at the heel and one at the elastic. This is alarming given the recent purchase. I haven't really put these boots through the ringer, but the stitching is already losing its integrity. I wanted to love these boots, especially with the possibility to resole them, but instead I'll be looking for a different chelsea boot in the near future.

Sorry to say but these are not what I thought. Had a fantastic pair of Arita boots which did exactly what they promised and stayed waterproof for about 4 years of dog walks. These will do as ordinary boots but unfortunately rubbed my ankles when I walked a long way in them first time. Wondering where I could get some like my original pair?

I purchased these boots at the beginning of January 2025, two weeks before Ariat requested a review, unfortunately I cannot give a genuine review at this time as I haven't had an opportunity to wear the boots. I am happy to provide a review but Ariat please, give me time before asking again.
