usually a medium in pants but had to return and get a large because they felt super tight in the butt and thighs. now the large is a bit long but the extra space in the thighs is worth it. otherwise I love them!!! I wear a light legging under and they keep me perfectly warm

These bibs kept me warm and dry while I was snowboarding in the rain! Very nice and a beautiful pattern. Easy to put on and take off. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because the chest/waist portion was slightly large.

Super cute. Love the color! Love the big to keep me warmer.
A little hard to get the bib part on, no clips to get the shoulder straps on. You have to pull over your head.

The North Face's quality tells everything about the product. Super comfy and warm. I haven't used that yet for skin but so far the only complain is the lateral zipper, which requires readjusting the strips every single time the I wear it.

I am solidly a size small but these bibs fit tight across the hips and thighs. It was so snug that I felt there was a risk of tearing at the seams. I ended up sizing up to accommodate for layers.

Quick delivery.
It fits on me perfect.
Love the color, quality, service.
Only one thing I needed to adjust straps because it is too long but it is an easy fix.
I order Size M
Love this item

I got a large and it's still a little fitting. I would size up! Everything else is great! It's got two pockets in the front. Really warm!

Love that I was able to find a short option for snow pants. At 5'1", these fit perfectly. They are a fitted bib, so they don't look or feel baggy. Only con is the color. It is more of a yellow green than a forest green, so not what I was hoping for.

Size up for sure, the insulation in the pants makes them tight in the hips/thighs. I sadly found out how inconvenient that was while I was already wearing them out on the slopes when I realized I couldn't get into my pockets, so I can't exchange for a larger size. Also I already put a tear in the inner boot reinforced fabric after 2 wears so that's cool!!

Like others' reviews, bibs were snug on thighs loose around hips (I'm 5'3" 136lbs). Ordered black (M/reg) and pink multicolored (M/short). Very clear difference in material quality. Pink bib material was very thin (felt like no insulation). Although the pink multi color bib was very cute, but not worth the risk of being cold or not water proof.

I plan to use these insulated bibs to ski and go snow tubing. I am 5'5 and weight 159-163. I ordered Short/Large. Length is great, although it fits tight in the upper thigh and seat especially when seated. I will have to return for the X-L so that I can wear a layer of thin Merano wool layer for the slopes.

I'm 5'4 130 lbs with an athletic build and I bought size M regular. The pants fit in the upper body area fine, but they feel a bit too tight in the hips and thighs, like when I crouch or bend over. Planning to use them to ski soon so I'm not convinced they will be comfortable sitting in lifts, getting up off the ground etc.
Not sure if I should exchange for longs or go up a size, but I think a large for someone my size is a bit excessive. Material seems decent and would keep me warm on cold nights skiing.

Only reviewing to inform people before they buy, not to trash the item.
The mens version is designed better in my opinion. Given a front zip slipping the suspenders off will be easier rather than a side zip on the women's. Both should have detachable suspenders like a clip system and that wouldve solved the issue but otherwise a side entry is extremely annoying on the mountain when you gotta use the restroom and further usually you have a double side zip rather than just one. Getting those suspenders over your head to pull the bib down would require you to pull off your helmet/goggles along with getting your jacket hood out of the way which lies between the two suspenders. If that's all easy for you power to you but I've been there done that and its a very outdated design for me. Gonna order the mens and see how that fits instead.
Also, the men's has an extra 2 thigh pockets which is always useful.

The insulated version is too warm w layers; too cold w/o & the padding makes it hard to layer. No shoulder fasteners force me to take off my helmet for pee breaks (!!). Cargo pocket useless because of placement and fact that it's not an accordion pocket. Lack of tightening at hem means they slip under heel of ski boots when not in skis.
Love the zip pockets on bib front, and the fit of the short length.

Verified PurchaseReview for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I am 130 lbs, heaviest in the bum and hips, and 5'2". I purchased a small and they were very snug, too tight through the legs and bum, so I returned them. I did get the short length and the length would have been perfect. I liked the design but the two bright white North Face Logos, one on each leg, seemed a bit much! I have no idea how they would've held up because I did not use them at all other than trying them on.

Great quality but wish there were elastic panels on the sides. Did not find it true to size- bough a 3x thinking I'd have lots of room, but that was not the case.

The chest straps have no buckle or attachment. There's only a zipper on one leg/side. Going to the bathroom would be a total pain to get fully undressed. Will be returning.

This is my first season and they tore on the butt. They're a bit baggy so not sure why. I called TNF and they asked me to mail it in for repair. Also, when I did wear them, I was very cold.

I had high hopes for these and wanted to like them but I returned these because I expected better material at this price. The material on these snowpants is reminiscent of the snowpants of the early 2000's. They feel rough and make that dreaded, grating swish-swish sound when you walk around in them. They also attract pet hair like nothing else.
