Got a size large, short size, about 135lbs, 5"1. I was between the medium and large but wanted them to be a little baggy so I was comfortable wearing an extra layer under for snowboarding.. the short length was also perfect for my height.

I have been on the hunt for warm, insulated bibs for a few years now and I have finally found them!!! I am just under 5'8 and the R fits well, high enough off the ground so the pant leg doesn't drag on the ground. Fit is snug, which I like, but I can see some others thinking it's too tight.

The color is amazing! Such a nice match to many other colors from NorthFace. Ready to board and not worry about snow with these bibs.

Great bib! Hard to find an insulated bib, North Face is one of the few brands that has this option. Comfortable and durable!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
So… huh. After reading other reviews, I thought this was FINALLY going to be the pair of (insulated) snowpants that fit my “curvy”-type body, but they’re not. So much for thinking bibs instead of pants would be the ticket! Granted, I’m looking for snowpants to keep me dry and extra-warm while I shovel and snow-blow (in the arctic hellscape known as MN), but the primary market for snowpants are people who ski, snowboard, or maybe snowshoe. All of these are leg-intensive activities, and one would expect persons who participate regularly to have nontrivial thigh muscles. Why, then, is every pair of snowpants I try on — this one included — so tight in the thighs? For context, I’m 5’7.5” and weigh 133 lbs. I have a narrow waist, average hipbones, & rounder thighs, but my proportions are far from anatomically remarkable. I ordered size Small, & the fit is like this: I’ve got an abundance of room in the waist/torso (even with a t-shirt, light sweater, & jeans underneath); the area around my actual hipbones is just about right; & the low seat / upper thigh area is TIGHT. I can still walk, but I can feel pulling & pressure with any decent stride length; while I can still squat, I wouldn’t call it comfortable. If you are shaped like a string bean or an apple, these will probably fit great. If you’re shaped more like an avocado or a butternut squash, however, you’re likely SOL.

I bought these in solid magenta on sale. And honestly it wasn't worth any more than the sale price. The fit was a slim fit. When bending down I felt like I was out of breath. Sizing up would have been way too long, and short length pants aren't an option where I am (more inclusive sizing and designs pls!). Also movement felt restricted for skiing and brisk walks. OK for snowboarding. I wore this bib this past 2021/22 season and it soaks through whenever there's any wet snow or drizzle. So I think the water repellency should be downgraded to water resistant, NOT WATERPROOF. North Face made a terrible strategic decision of getting rid of Goretex. The "DryVent" tech is mostly marketing, and the rating is mystifying at best. At least I know Goretex works, and the waterproofing rating would help consumers choose the right product for their purposes. That's really disappointing as I love the practicality of The North Face's clothing compared to many other outdoor brands. On a positive note. they look cute and the pockets do their job! The zipper pulls are easy enough to maneuver with winter gloves on.

Waited for these bibs to go on sale. I've been looking to replace an ancient pair of snow pants for snow play with grandkids rather than skiing. I like the color and pattern and, at last, a better price! They seem to fit ok, maybe a little large. Hopefully will not wear them until NEXT winter (in spite of our April Michigan snow yesterday!)
