Where have you been all my life??? I wish I hadn't listened to some of these reviews. I searched high and low and actually bought other expensive slippers (which gave me plantar fasciitis) because of some of the negative reviews. I shouldn't have listened. After 2 days in these slippers, the fasciitis was gone. I wear Dansko pros to work daily, and love their support. This is just a slipper-ish version. It is more cushioned (but not overly soft or memory-foam-ish), with excellent support, but it still feels like it's a slipper. It's no puffier than any other wool slipper. Plus, it's super lightweight and has a small bit of height (so I can reach things in the cupboard). Some other slippers make a squelching sound on my hardwoods - not these. If you love Danskos, look no further. I wish I had found these 20 years ago!

I was looking for a house shoe that could be worn when I’m in the kitchen and around the house. This shoe is perfect for that. In terms of wearing it as a shoe outside the home I’m not so sure, but as a functional and cozy house shoe or slipper I think it is perfect. I’ve tried other Dansko shoes and they were too wide and length wasn’t right, but these fit my slightly narrow foot very well. Should be nice for the cooler months ahead.

These feel great on my feet. They really help with my plantar fasciitis.

I am a Dansko addict x 17 years and counting… I was thrilled to hear that Dansko came out with a slipper! However these are not the standard footbed ? and my normal size did not fit! Sadly they are going back.

I was looking for an animal print version of my Halflinger clogs for daily wear. These are extremely “puffy” looking and could only be worn as an in the house slipper. For that purpose- they are cute, but lack the substantial arch support I enjoy in my Dansko professional clogs.

I’m a runner battling plantar fasciitis and have had big toe issues for years and was in the market for some good house/working from home shoes. When I wore these for the first time, I felt instant relief - my toes, arches, and calves feel so much better! Even though I work from home and sit on my butt all day, one day of wearing these really made a difference. I’m not trying to wear them around town but I probably could if I wanted to. I wish I would’ve bought them sooner!

Its hard not to like Dansko shoes. They're made so darn well, it makes you wonder why you bother getting anything less than their high quality merch. My only gripe: it provides moderate support. I just get concerned that in a year, the moderate arch it provides will be flattened out. I wish they erred on the side of more serious support. These are expensive enough, I want them "built to last."

I'm a big fan of Dansko shoes but a little disappointed with my latest. They felt great at first and look adorable. But after several months, the support seems to have disappeared and now appears rather flattened out. I've now gone back to wearing my Mephisto sandals around the house (not nearly as cute but more supportive). In hindsight, I wish I would have bought new Parsons which are structurally more supportive and maintain the support over time. For people who need real foot support, an insert alone doesn't cut it. The entire shoe must be built for it so it's not flattened out, as pictured. The shoe should provide support with or without the insert. Dansko is predictably good shoes but I fear that many companies over time don't put the same thought into their final product.

For someone with really good balance these are very good, cushioned shoes. But they are so cushioned that it’s very difficult to maintain balance on them— in other words they are quite wobbly.

I wear Danskos during 12 hr hospital shifts - am a big fan. I had read a couple of reviews that said these did not fit like Dansko clogs….I was wary. Well, these are the BEST. They are extremely comfortable, warm, substantial. I still love my boiled wool Halflinger slippers, but these Dansko slippers are levels above luxurious. I am also a trail runner and these feel similar to my expensive recovery shoes. I LOVE these!

Super comfortable. I haven't tried with orthotics yet but it's so nice to know it's an option. I have wide feet and a bunionette forming on my right foot and these are great - very soft!

I wanted to love these like I do my other Dansko shoes but I don't. They seem short. I am a 9 1/2 and my heel was on the back rim on the 40. The inside felt more like rubber than a slipper. Unfortunately, these are going back.

This style runs small and was too snug to wear. It was not what I expected in terms of comfort or look.

These are very comfy. My instep is quite high, so my foot wants to not go all the way in, unless I keep pushing it forward. I was afraid to go to a bigger size, because it’s a big jump, and the length is fine. Im keeping them and I hope after I’ve worn them a while they’ll conform better, as the foam compresses a bit.

Somewhat disappointed. Too big even with socks. Ordered two other brands of similar style. I most likely will return these after I receive my other order.

Great support. Definitely feels more like a shoe than a slipper. No cozy factor and substantial sole. You could easily wear these out and about.

I am a Dansko fan, this is my 11th pair. I have a high arch, its like, painful, to walk barefoot. Needed good warm house slippers - tempted by so many cute styles out there, but I tried these. I didn't love the fit at first, soft and felt less supportive, but after just a few hours they were molded to my foot , so supportive , and so comfortable in the heel as well as the rest of my foot. Try them and give them a chance.

These feel amazing - very supportive and soft footbed. I stand a lot - lots of cooking - and these are perfect for that. I got them in two colors! I have a high arch but these fit quite well.

a little bigger but i dont mind as in the winter i wear thicker socks. these are the absolute most comfortable Dansko i have ever had. The foot bed or whatever it is called is kind of squishy in a good way - cushiony for walking. fantastic arch support. fabulous!

I tried several different brands of shoes (all cute, all good quality) for winter slippers, and these won the day. They are warm, without being itchy like a couple of wool slippers I tried on. They are cushiony without being squeaky as were another pair with rubber soles that I tried. They are supportive, as Dansko’s always are, yet roomy enough to wear with heavier socks. Lastly, because of the color, they look cute! Love them and might even wear outside the house, because they’re so nice looking!

This is a great slipper for me. I love the arch support and grippy sole for getting me to and from the house to our outbuildings. I wear them with socks so far no sweaty feet!

They are great except for one thing, which others have mentioned. At the back of the heal, it scrapes against your foot. I can't figure why Dansko didn't put soft felt around the edging in the back like they did along the top and sides. If I wear them without socks (they ARE slippers so you shouldn't have to wear socks), it hurts. With socks on, it's OK. Other than that, these would be great. Not sure if I'm keeping them because of that annoyance - and that's a shame.

I was expecting so much more for this price point. Nothing more than a glorified slipper. I will definitely be returning these. Very little arch support and that is my whole reason for buying the Dansko.

Shoes well made as usual with dansko. Unfortunately they were a little short so must exchange. Thanks to Zappos
