I have the same style foot as the first reviewer - narrow, high arch, low volume forefoot. I have a couple of chronic foot problems and need something without too much flex in the sole. I was pleasantly surprised to receive free with the shoes some additional insoles to tweak the fit if needed (not so far) and a shoe horn. The leather of the shoes seems to be good quality and constructed well, and while they definitely are not dainty, the appearance isn't too clunky. I have spent over twice as much for shoes that felt this good the first time I put them on.

These shoes are absolutely amazing, especially for the price! I have narrow feet except at the toes, a high instep but low volume feet otherwise, bunions, and plantar fasciitis, and I need a lot of support from shoes. I have had a lot of problems over the years finding shoes that support and fit well. I ordered their size 6...my feet are exactly 9 inches long, and they fit perfectly...they are actually labeled a size 37 Euro also. I can wear them all day with no pain. These are the best shoes I've had in years, and I would highly recommend them!!

I’m a 12 and these are a full size smaller, if not a size and a half smaller. Be aware that they are made in Euro sizing that’s been converted to US sizes. That never works out well. Good quality overall. Very fashionable and sleek. They do not look orthopedic. They are much nicer than Drew shoes, which I usually wind up ordering because they are built to take orthotics, but they can be clunky.

I love these shoes. I bought them in anticipation for month-long trip to France and they looked great with pants, dresses, skirts - everything. They are orthotic friendly, so I wore them with my custom orthotics every day for the month, walking an average of five miles a day and as much as 10 miles in a single day on some days. They felt great and wore well. I'm completely happy with this purchase.

These are really nice shoes, but I wanted to write an updated review regarding size. I am a solid 6 1/2 in US sizing currently, mostly a medium foot, with wide toes and narrow heels. I had these in a size 6, and they ended up too small. So, I'd say they are true to size.

I wanted to like these shoes because they are sturdy, have good arch support, and seemed like good quality. Unfortunately they weren’t a good fit for me. I found that the heel was wide, and the toe box wasn’t wide enough. They’re cute though and come with thin inserts that can make a difference if one needs to stop the shoe from slipping.

Fell in love with these shoes as soon as I put them on my feet. I have big bunions which makes it hard to find comfortable and cute shoes. These are both. I typically wear either an 8 or 8.5 Wide shoe, depending on the brand, so was a bit concerned that these only come in full sizes. I ordered the 9 Wide and, even though I never wear 9’s, these fit great. They are roomy enough in the toe box and not so loose that they feel too big. I didn’t receive the customizing pack with my order but I did some customizing myself and added a layer under the heel of the insole so the heel fit a bit more snug. And how about that insole? It is leather and has a thick arch support so I don’t think I will need my orthotics in these shoes. I absolutely love the sparkly fabric too. Super pleased.

Uniquely stylish for a pair of sneakers. With my custom orthotics, these are very comfortable, even with lots of walking and/or standing.

After trying almost 20 pair of black tie shoes, I found these, after trying 2 different sizes, to fit my feet well. I broke my foot earlier this year, and still need a supportive shoe. I wanted a black leather pair for the winter. The black lizard are cute and will work well. Thanks Zappos for your patience and free returns.

A very well-made shoe with excellent arch support. They seem to run small so I purchased a size up from my regular size. I usually insert an orthotic for my high arches but the insole in this shoe works just as well. Nice cushioning in the sole. The shoe isn’t the most stylish but the rusty metallic sparkles make it a little more fun.

I am between sizes so I have difficulty with fitting. Other than that, this seemed like a great shoe--well made and attractive.

I typically wear a 7W in most shoes. I wear a 7.5 Wide in my Brooks Ghost Athletic Shoes. I have need a wide & somewhat deep toe box. I ordered both the 7W and the 8W of this shoe and the 8W was definitely too big for me. However, I didn't put the included foam spacer in under the insole because they were connected together and I assumed my breaking them apart I may not be able to return the shoes. But, I used a similar foam insole I already owned and inserted underneath the official insole and still felt the 8W was too big. So, what about the 7W. I wear orthotics from "The Walking Company" and find the ABEO line of shoes to really work for my foot "Most" of the time because they don't sell wide. Although the orthotic/footbed that comes in this shoe is much better than 95% of shoes on the market, it was not comfortable for me so I took it out and put in my own orthotic. I wore the shoes around the house at various times of the day, with fresh feet, and tired feet, and concluded they were not going to work for me. 1) I LOVE the look of them. They are stylish! (which sometimes is hard to find in shoes that have a removable footbed for orthotics. 2) They are well made 3) They have a very supportive insole with arch support as well as the extra inserts to help adjust your size. 4) They look great on my feet and with jeans. 5) All that said, they were not "springy" enough for me - they didn't offer any internal cushioning. I wear the Brooks Ghost because they have Level 5 "Cushioning". I wear the Walking Company orthotics because I feel the cushioning in them. Even with my Walking Company orthotics in these shoes I felt I couldn't justify the price of these shoes when one of the main selling points of these shoe/brand is the footbed & orthotic, and if I was going to switch it out for my own then I was just paying for the body of the shoe.

My shoe size is generally between 7 and 7.5. Based on the reviews, I ordered an 8 since 1/2 sizes were not available. It was slightly large, which is the reason for a 4-star overall rating because the shoes look bigger than most others I own. But with the additional insole pads that were included in the box as well as my custom orthotics, the shoes fit well and are comfortable, which I do not say about most shoes because of my plantar fasciitis. The color, slight sparkle, and the laces that match the color of the shoes all made these particularly attractive to me.

So cute, I really wanted to like these but they run very small. I’m a 10/10.5 and I buy 11 in sneakers, which sometimes run large on me. These had my big toe jammed. So sad because they are cute. But back they go!

This shoe is handsome, but it did not fit my foot comfortably. I think it was a lack of arch support, or support where my arch is.

I ordered this shoe in a 12 medium and it was more like an 11. Very disappointed with the small size but liked the style.
