I was looking for cold weather, water proof hikers, without mesh and low profile. These meet those needs. They are comfortable and dont think there will be much break in. The cold weather has not hit yet so I cant comment on warmth or water proofing...

These shoes are great and very well made. Comfortable out of the box. Good for hiking. Very solid soles. Runs a bit big/wide. Not quite enough for me to exchange but I would buy a size smaller next time.

Great shoes for walking my shepherd 5-6 miles everyday in Chicago snow, mud, sleet, rain, etc. However, the shoes I received did NOT match the color scheme as displayed. Mine are much darker.

Just bought a new pair of these Timberland Mt. Maddsen hiking boots. My first pair lasted over 20 years and took me around the world. Thanks, Timberland, for continuing to make such good quality footwear!

These shoes are not nearly as light brown as the pictures online. The shoes I got are much darker brown than the pictures.

This is my every day casual and work shoe. I love the fit and simple lines, I was very disappointed that I received a black shoe instead of the brown shoe that was shown on-line.

Used the shoe for trail walking, playing golf, & casual wear. Comfort was great. But the sole separated prematurely from shoe top. Re-gluing did not fix the problem. Hope my new pair lasts longer.

Daily walker in all types of weather- These shoes are up to the task ! They break in easily . I wish they lasted longer .

I bought these shoes for a trip in November and will need waterproof for the trip. They don't have much arch support but I solved that with inserts. Now they're very comfortable and my only remaining worry is if they will be as comfortable with thick wool socks. We'll see.

Excellent quality, but too wide particularly in the heel, even with a thick orthotic. I had to send it back.

Now my favorite wirk shoe!.... lightweight and comfortable.

Needed solid, stable shoes for working in yard and on a really uneven terrain on an island property in NH. These did the trick.

Didn't offer wide width

I wear these shoes all day and they stay comfortable. Part of my daily routine is a 45 min walk in all types of weather and my feet stay dry.

This is a very comfortable pair of shoes that is good for hikes and everyday wear. Quite stylish and fits well with jeans especially. The exterior is quite durable and looks quite the same after many hikes. However, I am disappointed with the quality of the mesh lining at the heel. After only half a year, the mesh has already torn and left an opening 2 inches in diameter. Overall, this is a great pair of shoes and I would highly recommend this. Only the quality of the mesh lining prevents me from giving this 5 stars.

My son likes these shoes. He immediately wore them and reported that they are comfortable. He is not a hiker but is on his feet a lot. They are a nice looking shoe and have a hefty lug sole. I ordered a half-size smaller than his Nikes and the fit is good. Son is happy, Mama is happy!

Shoes are well made and comfortable, although they do feel a tad larger than my Men's Timberland Waterproof Chukka pair that I've had prior to these. Overall warm and they have a sturdy feel.

I use this product on cold day to keep my feet warm, it's very light and easy on my feet and make walk around very easy on my feet.

I work in these shoes. They are a good pair of shoes, I just wish they would last a little longer. I have had several in the last few years.
