My kid likes the style, but they run small and too narrow for him. We had to return and didn't get to try a different size. So can't say how comfortable or durable they are.

We live in Seattle and this is the second year weve bought this style and ended up with the same issue. The sole starts peeling away and the cord, to make them tighter, broke this year. Bought these at the end of August and they started falling apart by October 1st. Called hoping for a replacement of a defective item but I was told I needed to go through warranty, which is 4-6 weeks. Were in our rainy season. Beyond frustrated and will not be buying from Sorel after this customer service nightmare.

Too small for kid and had off front lift that was not comfortable

These boots have been a disappointment. I purchased them in November and the tie fell off in a month. They get a ton of snow in them and my sons feet are always soaked. Horrible customer service. They would not let me return the item.

These have potential - my daughter said her feet were very warm and dry in situations where her classmates were complaining of cold wet toes. Which is the reason that I gave these any stars at all. However, the second time she wore them, the sole of the shoe detached from the toe. Unfortunately, even in cases where quality control is an issue, Sorel requires you to send the product back prior to any exchange. I have worked with other companies which will send the replacement, and will just charge you for both pairs eventually if the damaged pair or item is not returned within the allotted window. For the sake of improved customer service, I would encourage Sorel to consider that approach.

My son has had these for less than a year, and the sole has separated from the shoe on both of them leaving large crevices that water and dirt get in to. Unfortunately, they dont hold up to moderate use. He maybe wore them for 3 months last winter (they were a Christmas gift) and a handful of weeks this season. I would have expected higher quality for the price.

These boots were cute, they did the job for my child for 3 months. Than the sole of the boot began to peeled away from the rest of the shoe on and the ridge started pulling up too. I am very disappointed as these boots got normal wear from a child.

The upper part honor presses on the big toe right leg, left leg ok.

Super Cute boots but cheap/poor design of the laces

The size 4 was too small. Returned the item and had to pay for shipping.

very uncomfortable, how would i go about an exchange????

My Daughter has had the other older styles of this shoe and love them. I purchased this updated style and the minute the put on she stated they felt like vampire teeth were stick into her foot. I had her take them off and on the inside of the shoe towards the bottom shoe lace area fabric puckered inward, and tightening the laces caused it to stick out even more into the shoe. This is such an obvious defect in the design it shocking it made it through production.
