Looks cool, fits true to vans sizing, surprisingly light. However, they are not very warm with standard cotton socks, even after running just a few errands in 20-30 Degree temps. Michigan finally got heavy snow & i should've read 'water repellent treated upper" & remembered that water repellent doesn't last long. This morning my boots were submerged during a short walk with my dogs, clearing off my car twice & my socks were already wet. I should've spent the extra 30$ & bought the off-grid. Maybe would've been more fitting for my circumstances. I would only recommend for light snow & infrequent cold weather.

Whomever designed these shoes should be fired. Yes, it will keep you dry; but the zoned Primaloft doesn't keep you warm at all. Worst, the rubber area over the toes conducts the cold, so you end up with cozy ankles and frozen toes. Even with thick Smartwool winter socks it doesn't offer any thermal protection. An absolute disgrace to put so many "tech" in one shoes to ruin it with such design flaw. I have few MTE-1 that are way warmer than those garbage. Zero stars if I could.

Bought these Size 10 usually wear size 9.5. But always get my shoes a size 10 so they can fit better. I work as a Delivery Driver, tried to "break them in" because I thought I would have to since they're new boots. After 1 week of wearing them my Toes were sore. So no longer wear them. Wouldn't recommend them! Bought some better fitting and cheaper boots at one of my local Retail Stores! Probably the best option honestly! And couldn't return them since they were already worn which I understood, so if you feel them to tight at the Toes go ahead and return/exchange them!

I purchased these towards the end of last winter and finally got around to wearing them for the first time the other day as we just got 15" of snow here in Minneapolis. As I was putting them on the strap on the back of one of the ripped. I attempted to contact Vans about the matter and received a generic reply about there return period being 30 days or something.. I think this is ridiculous to have this policy on a seasonal item. As you can see in my pictures these are brand news

If you work as a Delivery Driver or your on feet all day, wouldn't recommend them! Honestly you can find some way cheaper, better fitting boots at your local Retail Store! I bought these in a size 10 I'm usually a size 9.5 but always get 10. I wore these for a week, hoping to "break them" in because they were brand new boots and I really loved the style! but Nope! Guess that's how they're made they squeeze right at the Toes, my Toes were sore after that week of me trying to "break them" in. May just have been me not sure, But then they might just run small, didn't want to buy order another pair and it be the same situation. Also couldn't return them either, because they were already worn which I completely understand. So if they aren't comfortable for you go ahead and return/exchange them if you have to!
