For me, with a short torso, the length is good--the slit on the side hits mid-hip, so the back tail covers most of my seat while the front tail covers my belly. The sleeves are a tad long, but I have super short arms, so they would probably be fine for a normal person. The 100 percent cotton is soft. I appreciate the seam down the front, which gives the garment some body and strength. It's not see-through like so very many white garments. I have not yet washed it, but when I do, I hope the sleeves shrink a little. Good buy.
