Great color, I wish it were a crewneck but they don’t have the right purple shade.

I really wish this tee were a crew neck but I needed this color. It is very comfortable. It goes well with a pair of Beyond Yoga pants I bought a couple years a\go and with a pair of Tory Burch Minnie Ballet Slippwrs I just received for Easter.

Color was more rust than orange that appeared in the photo so I'm returning it. Great fit tho!

Good quality

I like these at first, but they wrinkle and the neck sags after washing, looking sloppy.

Very soft, but the v neck loses shape wayyyyy too easily.

This is a basic, practical tee and fits me pretty well, if a little on the roomy side. With Madewell it’s never straightforward, the cut, the fabric and size aren’t consistent across styles so there’s some guesswork involved. This one is a bit flimsy and I don’t think it’ll hold up for long. I do like the whisper cotton, great for warm weather and also for layering. Sure wish they had more colors. You’d think it would be easy to find a nice simple tee that fits well with good fabric, but it’s not easy at all!

These T shirts run quite large. I used the size chart to select the size and it's easily two sizes too big. When ordering these, I would suggest ordering 1-2 sizes smaller depending on how you like them to fit.

Will not last

I thought this would be my perfect t shirt for the price, but it shrunk up to a half shirt as soon as I washed and dried it. When will clothing companies realize they should pre-shrink the cotton? So frustrating!

The Earthen Sand color seemed like just what I was looking for in a warm, neutral tan with a subtle hint of texture in the fabric. The style and fit is accurately captured on the model. Unfortunately, the fabric is so soft and thin that without the professional studio lighting, this light color is quite see-through in real-world conditions. I wasn't at all confident how it would hold up to washing either, so I'm returning it. I already have plenty of old T-shirts that are soft, comfy, and barely decent, so I don't need a new shirt that can only be layered or worn around the house.

This is not like the old version with the pocket at all. I wear an XXS in that one, but a small in this one fit best. However, it is so boxy and doesn’t hang well. It’s longer in the front, which looks horrible on my short torso. After one wash the v lost it’s shape and doesn’t lie flat on my chest. Awful shirt.

I was not impressed with the quality of the fabric. I have a navel-piercing and the fabric quickly tore (small holes) around my midline because of it. The shirt is very light weight and would be good for someone that doesn't need high-durability fabric. I didn't think that I needed high-durability fabric...

These shirts are such crap. I bought 5 and every single one of them had a hole in the belly button area after one or two washings. HUGE waste of money. I hate how t-shirts are so thin now, they all tear super easily. Won't buy these again. Utter crap.

There is NO silver in this item. It's a bland tan.

How could a t-shirt be manufactured so wrong? I tried on 3 smalls and 3 x-smalls, all different colors. The lengths, widths, arm holes, size of fabric on v-neck, shortness of fabric on the shoulder (i.e., between neck hem and top of sleeve hem) .... ALL of it was different on each shirt and nothing fit correctly. "Madewell," really? An oxymoron in this particular case. The best thing about it is the softness, but I couldn't give more than a 1 star for just that. Returning.. thank you, Zappos!

The worst top I’ve bought

Doesn't hold it's shape, I don't wear it out of the house.
