I love these, they're beautiful. But they definitely run large as they are the same size as my last pair of Miz Mooz similar shoes, but are far bigger.

I have a wider toe box, with skinny ankles. These fit well on my feet, and are super stylish. Great thick leather that I think will hold up for awhile. I love Miz Moos shoes.

Started with a size 39, my usual size, but too big. 38 is perfect! Was worried about the buckle at the ankle, but no problem at all. Very comfy and color is swell!

I love these shoes. As another reviewer pointed out the zipper may scratch your ankle but that was a fast easy fix with a little moleskin. Given the price you may not want/ expect to do that, but for me the style and comfort for every other aspect of the shoe was worth it. Received multiple complements the first time I wore them.

Just like the other reviews have stated, these run larger than my other Miz Mooz sandals. The didn't have the smaller size so I thought I would try them just in case. They were just too big so I had to return them and try another Miz Mooz style. LOVE Miz Mooz!!!

This brands shows a European 40 to be a 9 or 9/12. It is definitely at least a 9 1/2 - not even close to a 9. A whole size down though would likely be too small so I'm returning them. The leather was soft and I liked the style.
