I planning a trip to Norway and my sister-in-law highly recommended knee socks for warmth. Just putting these on, I know they will their job. Very comfortable and just what I need. A win in the sweepstakes would allow my to finish my shopping for the upcoming trip.

I use these wonderfully comfy socks all winter long. I would not buy any other sock and I highly recommend this company due to the fact that they have wonderful products and they most definitely stand behind their products.

Beautiful artwork on the socks, super comfy and warm. Love these socks and because they are wool, I can get a couple wears out of them prior to (wool) washing.

This is the second pair of Smartwool socks I have purchased for my wife. They keep her feet warm skiing, fit well into ski boots, are soft and her original pair have held up for years.

I live in Alaska where it's most comfortable for me to wear knee-highs for about 8 months of the year. I got these hoping they'd be a good neutral to pair with all of my tops that are on the magenta color spectrum, and that's how they are working (note: I mostly wear shoes with long pants, so only the ankle shows). I also got a pair of second-hand dusty lilac cords and these socks work great with those too. They'll be great with boots/skirts also. Nice squishy cushion. I wish SmartWool made more socks in knee-high height; crew socks just don't cut it in Alaska for most of the year.

These are going to be my go-to ski socks this winter. They are super soft, thick, and luxurious feeling. They will definitely be warm enough for a full day on the slopes. I love the full cushion as it will help eliminate skin bang. If your ski boots are already on the smaller side though, they may feel too small with the amount of cushion on these socks. #SmartwoolLove

Didn't seem to have the same fit and cushioning as my PhD socks. These move around in my boots.
