Fit was perfect, these socks never bunched up and the tab on the ankle is well designed to provide extra cushion for hiking shoes with a firm heel cap but also worked well for other shoes and under taller boots. The material is soft and never itchy and they kept me warm even when they got damp during my trip to Iceland. Would highly recommend!

I like these socks because of the thick cushion. My feet are usually cold so I appreciate a thick, warm sock. I wear a women’s size 8 and the medium are a perfect fit.

These are the best socks. If you have cold feet and don’t want all the binding around your ankle, these are the ones. I like to buy all my socks the same. And white is always best. I knew should have bought more as soon as found their quality to be what I wanted cause they’re sold out now. I buy mine larger also. Cold feet even in summer is no treat.

10/10 would recommend for anyone. These socks are practical for everyday use, the back of ankle upper lip provide for no chafing when wearing every day sneakers or running shoes. These socks do not slip down making them very practical for any outdoor activity or sport. for example, walking, jogging, hiking, or even circuit training. The socks have well distributed cushioning along side the ball of the foot to the top of the toes and the around the ankle. #SmartwoolLove

These are THE best socks! I wear them for everyday use as well as walking and hiking. The comfort and fit cannot be beat and the wool does a great job wicking away any moisture. I especially love the way they come up higher in the back so my shoe never has a chance to rub on my heel.

Smartwool are worth EVERY penny. Ever have that weird nub on the toe seam bother you? Never with these. Wool wicks and breathes—and is comfortable on cold or warm days. Nice cushioning. The back roll just peeks out of the back of shoe to prevent slipping into the shoe and ruining your workout. I’m a smartwool lifer. Check out their “light hiker” mid calf socks. Great year round.

I have very sensitive feet. These socks are warm, comfortable and just feel great overall. I've never had smartwool socks. My daughter wears them all the time, she turned me on to these and I love them now as much as she does. So much so that I ordered more.

These socks keep my feet very warm. They're very cozy and I love the colours and the pattern.

Great for sport and everyday wear

I wear Smart Wool socks daily. I have since well before the turn of the century. I love that I can choose thickness ie. special designs for hiking, walking, running etc. I wear no other brand of socks. My sock drawer is absolutely stuffed - with Smart Wool brand socks!

Change (upgrade) the comfort in my runnings

I am 73 and do not move as much these days but I still want quality and comfort. According to the size chart I am on the edge of M. I buy large to allow for shrinkage in the dryer. I hate tight socks. These socks wash and wear perfectly and feel like quality. I buy these as gifts all the time for people I truly care about & they love these socks as much as I do..

Every single year I ask for smartwool socks for Christmas. I like the reinforced, they last longer. Have had no athletes feet since I started wearing these about 7 years ago. Sweaty feet:/

Love these socks for everyday walking! Just the right amount of cushion to comfortable and warm enough for cool weather, but not too hot in warmer months.

I have owned these socks before. I had them for like 12 years and by year 10 started wearing thin. So you should have a good long while with these socks.

I bought a pair of these in Flagstaff before a hike earlier this year. Turns out, they've become my favorites & I now have 3 pair. Great cushion, fit & not too hot when hiking in the heat. They dried pretty fast afterwards.

I have nothing to say but good things I have plantar fasciitis and have to wear heavy socks even in the midst of a Florida heat wave. They are the only only ankle socks I can wear everything else causes me trouble in the arch. I've worn these socks forever, and I will continue to do so please do not stop making them.!!!

My wife loves it, it's her first time, and it's wonderful. The patting on the bottom of the foot is thick and comfortable.
