Fit was perfect, these socks never bunched up and the tab on the ankle is well designed to provide extra cushion for hiking shoes with a firm heel cap but also worked well for other shoes and under taller boots. The material is soft and never itchy and they kept me warm even when they got damp during my trip to Iceland. Would highly recommend!

I like these socks because of the thick cushion. My feet are usually cold so I appreciate a thick, warm sock. I wear a women’s size 8 and the medium are a perfect fit.

These are the best socks. If you have cold feet and don’t want all the binding around your ankle, these are the ones. I like to buy all my socks the same. And white is always best. I knew should have bought more as soon as found their quality to be what I wanted cause they’re sold out now. I buy mine larger also. Cold feet even in summer is no treat.

10/10 would recommend for anyone. These socks are practical for everyday use, the back of ankle upper lip provide for no chafing when wearing every day sneakers or running shoes. These socks do not slip down making them very practical for any outdoor activity or sport. for example, walking, jogging, hiking, or even circuit training. The socks have well distributed cushioning along side the ball of the foot to the top of the toes and the around the ankle. #SmartwoolLove

These are THE best socks! I wear them for everyday use as well as walking and hiking. The comfort and fit cannot be beat and the wool does a great job wicking away any moisture. I especially love the way they come up higher in the back so my shoe never has a chance to rub on my heel.

I'm 70+ and have had multiple foot surgeries- socks are my bottom line to wearing regular shoes beyond a "boot" or surgical shoe. I have tried every brand and material. My goal is tothat the sock maintains its size and thickness as well has not causing my feet to sweat and swell. My youth provided experience with wool living in Michigan- brrrr. My mother would have a fit when I tossed everything in the laundry basket and the wool items came out of the dryer in Barbie Doll size. Great time to be alive now that smart wool exists.

It just feels nice having purchased them again. It has been quite a few years since I have been able to afford them. They are a bit pricey but we worth it

These socks keep my feet dry for 12hr work days as a nurse on my feet all day. I wear steel toed shoes which are not breathable and my feet were feeling soggy by the end of the day. Not anymore now that I wear SMARTWOOL socks. Cushioning on the heels and soles are thick and comfortable.

Utilize for daily wear, as well as cross training workouts. My favorite socks!

I like low socks even in the winter. These don't ride down into my shoes, and keep their shape very well. Comfortable for walking and general hanging out. I forget I have them on!

Smartwool are worth EVERY penny. Ever have that weird nub on the toe seam bother you? Never with these. Wool wicks and breathes—and is comfortable on cold or warm days. Nice cushioning. The back roll just peeks out of the back of shoe to prevent slipping into the shoe and ruining your workout. I’m a smartwool lifer. Check out their “light hiker” mid calf socks. Great year round.

I have very sensitive feet. These socks are warm, comfortable and just feel great overall. I've never had smartwool socks. My daughter wears them all the time, she turned me on to these and I love them now as much as she does. So much so that I ordered more.

Great for sport and everyday wear

I wear Smart Wool socks daily. I have since well before the turn of the century. I love that I can choose thickness ie. special designs for hiking, walking, running etc. I wear no other brand of socks. My sock drawer is absolutely stuffed - with Smart Wool brand socks!
