These are just the BEST! Just the right amount of cushion for everyday winter wear, very warm, very comfortable, stay up with a minimal elastic at the top, don't leave grooves in my legs. Also very durable, look new forever and don't pill like most other brands. If I could give these socks 10 stars, I would.

These are the only socks my daughter wears so I buy them for her every Christmas.

Outside walks

Smartwool socks are a necessity in cold climates. I live in these socks all winter long and have several pair now. These are great for hiking, around the house, or when out and about in boots in chilly weather. I wish the fabric would not fuzz/pill so much but since they are socks and rarely seen I won't complain too much.

Qualit, comfort, long-lasting.

These are great socks. They have the right amount of cushion without being bulky. I wear them in hot weather and my feet never feel hot. They wash and dry well and last and last. Other socks get holes in them quickly but these wear so well. I'm very happy with these socks.

Love Smartwool! I got these for an 11 mile hike and they keep me comfortable and relatively dry (some low water crossings). I highly recommend

I first wore Smartwool about 10 years ago in NH. They were perfect for the snowy weather. I now live in SC but I have RA. I love the hiking socks; they are perfect for the cold nights.

Perfect winter sock for use in horseback riding boots.

I have a very small foot and I wear a 6 AA in athletic shoes if I wear thick socks. In dress shoes I wear a 6AAAA. And can hardly find any shoes whether in store or online. These womens size small are a bit wide for me, so I shrunk them a bit washing in hot water and drying in high heat too. And they just fit now, although after I wear them a day, they grow. Back to what they were when I got them. Kids large fit perfect, but they were a thin sock, and not for winter, so returned those. In WI. winters, you need WARM socks even in the house.

I'm so glad I was introduced to Smartwool socks - I love them - they are comfortable and live up to all the great reviews.
