I use these as my summit sock, sacred sock, and cozy after skiing sock. I don't know of a better heavy weight sock out there.

These fit great, nice and soft. Initially I thought they were too thick, I wanted them for summer use too. But after wearing them, they are so awesome! My feet didn't get hot like I maybe thought they would. And they just felt so nice, it was like an extra layer of cushiness that made a huge difference in my boot comfort. definitely recommend and worth every penny.

When I opened the package I thought oh no they will be too tight to wear shoes. but they are cushy and fit well and don't make my shoes too tight.

I love smartwool socks and have been wearing them for years. I wear them year round. I live in New Hampshire and as I get older my feet get colder in late fall, winter and early spring. I recently bought the above socks and absolutely love them! They are so soft, warm, and cozy. I bought 4 more pairs.

Perfect socks and perfect shopping experience. I accidentally purchased Womens Large ( I needed Medium) Mountaineer socks at a local hiking store. Once I realized what I'd done, I ordered the Medium socks and gave the Large ones to my brother (he has narrow feet!!!) I've been wearing Smartwool socks for over 20 years and no other sock comes close. And these Mountaineer ones are fantastic. I live in a house that's 126 years old and has cold floors when it gets really cold outdoors so I need warm socks both indoors and out.
