My husband loves his Ariat M7 jeans. So we were so excited to find the khaki version of this fit. However within the first hour of wearing, the fabric had stretched out and didn't retain its fit. So now we are back to the drawing board on finding a good work-khaki in a slim fit.

Fabric is as durable as anything else on the market vs competitors. My problem is with fitment. I'm in search of a true low rise waist canvas pant, and these fit claim to sit below the waist but actually match the "sits at natural waist" description as other pants and I have to hike them up. If I let them ride slightly below my natural waist the crotch is way too low and ends up either restricting movement or rips out over time due to the additional stress. Once these are worn out I will keep searching for my ideal work pant.

I have 5 pairs of the M7 in tan/gray. For some reason, these are the ONLY pieces that come out of my dryer completely wrinkled from the knee down. It doesn't matter if I air tumble them, run it hot or anywhere in between. I have hung them after wash and they still get wrinkly, not to mention they are stiff that route also. I have plenty of pairs of M4 and M5 blue jeans, boots and shirts, which I love, but for my work pants, I think I will go another route in the future. I bought 3 pairs months ago and 2 pairs a couple weeks ago and they all still do it.

The pants fit ok but have a very short and rough zipper, very difficult to get things out when I need to

The M7 and M8 are the same fit/measurements from the knee up. I have 7 pairs of m7 and m8 and all fit the same except the tan/khaki color m7 work pants. It's like someone grabbed one size too big for just the front panels during manufacturing. My gray pair fit just like all the denim ones. I've washed them and doubt I can return them. Just a little frustrating, for the price, I'd expect a little more quality control.

You should order a waist size down As my pair fit perfectly at first but after a half hour they become very baggy in the waist So I would order a size down

I expected the standard khaki/brownish color that is available by many brands. What I received was a very light khaki color. One could even say there may have been an olive grayish color before washed and worn a few times. It definitely did not look like the photos. Overall nice pants for work outside of the color being off.

While they are pretty nice pants they definitely are NOT a slim fit pant. Very baggy especially around the ankle. I think I may try their "modern slim" jeans as those appear to be slimmer then these pants.

All my other pants were great but this pair shrunk to a 31 inside seam length. All my others shrunk but only to 33.

At first, I really liked these pants for work. I ordered 5 pair. After a couple months of wear and washes, the material stretches out in places causing runs all over the pants. It has happened to every pair now. I'm a loyal Ariat wearer. I've never had a quality issue, but I'll never buy another pair of these pants. Super disappointed.

I bought one pair of these to try and absolutely loved them, they fit perfect as i am a slim guy. So I gradually started replacing all my work pants with these. I have yet to find 2 pair that fit the same, same pant same size but they all differ in fit and length. Some are more like relaxed fit some fit like they are 4 inches too long. Great stuff but what happened to quality control?

Fit well and seem durable. They come out of the wash with bad wrinkles while other work pants in same load are wrinkle free.

Overall they're great pants but I purchased 3 pairs and one of three shrank dramatically after the first wash. Really good quality overall just disappointing in other aspects.

Pants seem like good quality and feel. They are marked as slim but they are not. I am skinny and these were still very baggy like a regular pair of pants. Did not seem true to size on waist.

I had high hope for these pants based on the reviews and the pictures of the pants on the model. They are not slim or straight at all, but rather baggy and loose, and I found myself swimming in them. The waist size was correct, so sizing down would not help. Perhaps the model pictured is just much bigger! Well, can't win them all

The legs were to big and baggy looking. Seemed like a boot cut fit or something instead of straight.

I like the pants but they're too tight in the waist. I bought my 34 waist size and there is no stretch in the waist , these run small

I have had these for a while now and they are the worst pants I have owned. They wrinkle in every type of wash cycle, they dont come out when dryinig on any setting and when I iron them the wrinkles look permanent. The cloth will be flat but the wrinkle lines will still be there. Never had this problem before, will not buy pants from Ariat again. Boots are great though!
