I live in the mountains at 8,000 feet and these are great with my approach shoes for daily activities, been using them for a couple of years and will continue to buy.

Fits great, love the crew size. Bought these after getting blister with cotton socks, these are so much better than cotton.

I wear these for multiple activities--mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, everyday wear. In cold and warm (not hot) weather.

Love this product. Can wear it multiple days on the trail hiking and no stink. Comfortable. Durable. Have been buying these for a few years. Just buying more so the originals last longer. I've learned that the "Hike" socks are the new "PHD" socks. I loved the PHD socks, and the Hike socks are just as good. They fit my foot very well, don't shift or move around a lot, and still feel light and breathable while being warm. These are the best wool socks I've tried. #sweepstakes

Normally I opt for XL since I'm right at the top of L and bottom of XL sizes. I tried Large this time and was quite impressed. The height really helped it not squeeze my calf irritatingly. Snug fit all around my foot, didn't sag out even after a couple back to back days hiking, or after eventually washing #dirtbag It's much cooler than the medium cushion socks that I usually wear and hike in. Less bulky in my hikers, and managed moisture a lot more effectively. #smartwoollove

I bought these for hiking but ended up wearing them most winter days

These were on my grandson's wish list for Christmas and he loved them. Bought him multiple pair because he now lives in Colorado where he's had more snow than he's ever had before.
