These socks are so comfortable that they are worn daily, regardless of the activity. They are a must for cold weather.

These socks are a little more padded than other Smartwool socks and offer more warmth. They do not bunch up but stay put on the foot and are very comfortable. A chance to win in the "Sweepstakes" is an added bonus.

I loved the Phd (medium crew) for many years. This new line continues to build on what is already excellent. Great for hiking in winter or summer. Great for winter sports and also casual use around town and daily trips to the office.

These provide the perfect cushion for my feet and the shoes I wear. I had been getting a different Smartwool sock for about 10 years so I had to experiment a little to get these as a replacement. You no longer make the socks that I wore forever.

These are great socks. I bought six pair in multiple colors. I just use the socks to keep my feet warm as I tracked across Belgium and the Netherlands. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a great pair of sturdy/comfortable/warm socks.
