Seem well made but they are unisex sized so the medium was too large fora female size 7 foot. I returned them.

Honestly not as comfortable as the Everyday Larimer Light cushion Crew sock ! I was kind of in shock.

I have enjoyed Ph.D. Crew socks for cold-weather for several years. Those seem to be no longer available, but I hoped these would be a good substitute. Unfortunately, these are significantly heavier, and a size "Large" is actually more like "Extra Large" in the Ph.D. socks. I am therefore planning to return them.

I used the size guidance for my order, and the XL size I ordered for my size 12 feet are HUGE. probably at least a size 13 minimum. They don't shrink a little in the wash either. So now I'm stuck with these so I will use as outer layer socks for hiking.

Classic, warm functional sock in old school natural color. I have bought this sock multiple times in both full and extra cushion versions. Works equally well in weathered hiking boots or as a comfortable indoor slipper substitute.

Ten years ago, I bought the same Smartwool crew sock. The sock from ten years ago was thicker, ample, with a higher wool content. It was a medium size and fit my size 9.5-foot size perfectly. The Classic Edition Crew Socks that just arrived are about 1/2 as good as the socks manufactured from years past. Using Smartwool's sizing guide, this time I order the large size, and the LG size of the new sock feels actually smaller than the medium size from yesteryear. In my opinion, Smartwool is yet another corporation that cuts corners with their products to boost profits and hoping that more recent customers will never know the diminished quality of Smartwool's current socks.

They've changed these socks, less wool, less padding on the bottoms. These aren't the socks you remember.

Long ago I compared Smartwool to other, and bought Smartwool. The older socks are in better shape than new socks worn 5 times. I won't ever buy Smartwool again. Sad to see my favorite socks fail.

I have a pair of new sock still in the original wrapper. They are 67% wool. The nearest I can find in the "new" Smartwool socks is 60%. The socks I just bought have less wool and more nylon. Then made my feet sweat. I'm looking for another company to buy my wool socks from and I've been a customer of Smartwool socks for 25 years. I'm sad.

Some of your products I purchased in SAS stores were very tight like the one above I just received. But the light grey and pink w texture mini boot sock are MARVELOUS , soft comfy. It seems these are not on your website. Do you make crew socks as soft as the minis.?

I ordered these socks 2 weeks ago and I still haven't seen them. I'm sure the socks are great like all Smartwool socks.

Came unraveled after 1 was and a few weeks of wear. Garbage quality. Very disappointed. For the price I would expect much better.

Love them for the first hour having them on but they stretch after that and end up a ball in your boot. Too bad. Ordered correct size. Not sure what the fix is for this but too bad. Can't depend on doing anything with them in terms of hiking or backpacking.

I walk around 4 miles a day and need good quality socks else I have feet issues. By good quality I mean good wool socks. I decided to give these a shot around a recent sale and upon having heard great things about them. They are very disappointing. Already are starting to have spots where the stitching is coming undone. They are a very loose knit as well and do not provide much if any cushion for a sock called "full cushion". I cannot recommend these. My go to brand (DT) blow these away big time.

Socks arrived in mail. I wore them around the house for about 6hrs. never even put them in shoes. I put them in the wash the next day (their first wash!), and the top of one unraveled completely. hopefully its a fluke, but there are lots of other brands out there to try. A super bummer from a company i used to wear exclusively.
