Just bought 3 of their overalls and decided to wash and dry them because they're new ofc. Two of them survived the wash and drying. One of them lost its buckle. :(( very disappointed for how much I spent on it. Too bad I can't get a refund or replacement because I bought It from Dave's New York on 6th Ave. Feels like a waste of money. We will see how the other two will last.

The size was a little smaller than normal but maybe I'll be able to wear them if I loose some weight.

If you buy your pants size, it fits perfect plus a second layer beneath it. It is comfortable and easy to maneuver when wearing it.

I purchased these a little over a year ago. They are very well made. However, the 30 length I purchased has shrunk almost 2 inches just by washing in cold and hang drying which has been a bit concerning. That's the reason for 2 stars.

I've been a Carhartt guy for over 35 years, these new bibs are a JOKE!!! Please go back to the original R01. The new "cell phone pocket" is a waste, makes the two chest pockets to short. The front pockets are to shallow! and what is with changing the straps!!? Disappointed that Carhartt has gone cheap like the rest of the industry! The elastic on the side was a nice addition and the double cuff at the bottom has helped from the wear. Bibs are meant for work not fashion, please remember that Carhartt!

Really bummed out with a few aspects..The inseam shrank considerably after washing and hang drying. Im 5:11 and wishing I got 34's instead of 32's. My socks are exposed when Im crouched or sitting. Didn't have that fit issue before washing.
The front side pockets aren't deep enough. Stuff falls out, and my phone pokes me. They're pretty much unusable, I simply can't trust them to contain things. The three little pen pockets aren't deep enough (well, one is, the other two are shallower). The zipper should be about 1" higher up, pens obstruct the zipper movement.
The thigh pocket configuration is reversed from the pants. Hammer loop is on the right, double stack pockets on the left. The right pocket is directly below the hammer loop. So if you have a pliers in the pocket, the handle snags on the hammer loop. If you have a hammer in the loop, it tends to want to go in the pocket. It's very poorly thought out. I'll need to relocate or remove the hammer loop.
Unfortunately I can't return these since I washed them. If I keep them(a pretty big if since the inseam is kind of a deal breaker) the pockets and hammer loop will need some tailoring.

Just got a pair of the black unlined overalls and wow has the quality gone down. I have had a few pairs of Carhartt overalls so I can tell the difference, all the pockets are smaller, the shoulder straps do not stay secured, the elastic waistband is already tearing after one wash, the leg width is way more baggy. I loved my old overalls and it's just really sad seeing the quality go down so much. Definitely going to start looking for a new overall alternative :(

Been wearing these over 20 years. First they changed sides of the leg pockets. Now the chest pockets have shrunk and they changed the straps to a stretchy material that stretches over 3 inches and the adjuster constantly slides down. . Absolute garbage product now.

I bought these for my son as he started a new job in construction. They have lots of pockets for different tools and a zipper closure pocket for something that needs more security like your wallet or phone. He is very happy with the bib overalls quality and weight of them, will definitely buy more of these and other items

My son is tall and thin, and it was great to find his size: 30 x 34. He works on a construction site, operating heavy equipment starting at 5 AM when it is very cold. He layers under these, and as it warms up, he takes the layers off. They keep him warm and dry and comfortable while he is outside in 20. Excellent quality. Great price. Great fit. Highly recommend.

CHANGE THE SUSPENDERS BACK!!! I am a loyal customer, have been for almost 20 years now. I wear my coveralls five days a week. I am now trying to find a new brand that I can live with because Carhartt cheaped out on the suspenders awhile back. Seriously, they are TERRIBLE! They constantly slip down and are WAAAYY elastic-y. The old ones were perfect. You could adjust them and they stayed put. I'm serious Carhartt, you are losing a customer and I can't say I'll be back until you fix this.

We like them. They fit perfect. We bought a pair last year and haven't been able to use them because they are too long. Can I send them back to you in exchange?

Carhartt Bibs are simply the best. If you want something that will last for years and years, and continue to look great, go ahead and spend a little extra and buy Carhartt.

Really miss the old style bibs with only Pockets on the bib. These new style with the zipper pouch are going to take some getting used to. Not really sure why the change.

I had to have some major alterations done to make them fit. I shortened the shoulder straps by more than half the length of the elastic, partly because they are ridiculously long, but mostly because the adjustment "thingys" don't work at all. Next, I had to have the bib shortened about two inches. I am about 5'4", 130 pound woman welder. I have long legs and a short body so the issues with fitting may be because of my goofy build. All things considered, these bibs hold up better and longer than any other work clothes I've tried over the last 30 odd years. I will continue to buy these bibs until I retire someday.
