I doubt its waterproof. Bought it about 3 weeks ago. And it just snowed yesterday so my son tried it for the first time. His socks got wet right away. It was bottom of socks got wet so I know it is unlikely snow getting in from up. I was disappointed because I tried 6-7 pairs of keens over the years and about 3 of them were advertised waterproof. They were flawless. One of them is over 3 yrs old and still hold dry. It could be because of not using PFAS any more? I don't know. I know that I have to think twice before buying waterproof from Keen, which bumming me out.

Nice pair. My kid felt a bit small in first trial. Probably because of fuzzy winter socks. Return them and 2nd try with one size bigger was perfect fit.

The side of the shoe was rubbing on my son's ankle. He didn't even leave the house with it because it started rubbing right away.

2nd year purchasing these shoes for grandsons. Very durable, very, very warm.

Great shoes. Nice combination of warmth, comfort and traction. Warm enough waiting for the bus in the morning, but light enough to run around be comfortable inside a heated school. Weve bought 3 so far (she grows out of the old ones before they wear out)

great alternative for snow days. Like them better than those heavy snow boots

My daughter loves them! An alternative to her tall, heavier winter boots, these are great shoes for running around in the cold when the snow isn't too deep. We especially like how lightweight and flexible they are while also being waterproof. Daughter likes the pattern and colors, and that they are easy to get on and pull off.

Broken bungee lace after one month of normal wear. Keen doesn't seem to offer replacement laces. I bought these at a local, independently owned shoe store. Hoping they can help me. I see from some reviews this has happened to other customers. Too bad. Cute shoes, otherwise. They should really come with extra laces.

My family started wearing Keen shoes because they were wide. No they are too narrow and uncomfortable. Painful

Why does a waterproof boot have such a slippery sole? There is almost no tread and my son slid around inside the house on dry hardwood floors. Cant imagine what these would be like in the rain. Returning.

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter. She wore them twice and complained of ankle pain.

I have big kids size 2 feet but my feet are wide. I'm 54 and it's hard to find boots/shoes that look adult like. I also needed easy on and warm for our WI weather. These boots met all the requirments. Worth the extra money spent and comfortable. Thanks, Keen!

The shoe is true to size, very light weight, wide enough for my son who has very wide feet. I have not experienced any issues with the laces, works well. All in all a great shoe.

My grandson loves them! Light weight, yet warm and have great traction. Easy to wipe off when dirty.

My family lives in East Tennessee, my daughter attends a forest school and we were looking for shoes that were warm, light weight and cool looking. My daughter does have a wider foot, we were happy to find some chukkas that fit well- so far she said they keep her feet warm, and are very comfortable.

Theses shoes were not a size 1. They were mis marked and when measured to another pair of size 1, they ran very small. I will return them.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I bought a pair for my son. They looked so cute I wanted my own pair. I didnt love the look of the womens style, and Im fortunate enough to have small enough feet I can fit a childs size. So I bought myself some. I live in Montana and I have worn these all winter! Yes even in -20 temps!! My feet are always toasty warm and I dont wear any special socks. These shoes are so light weight I feel like Im just wearing slippers! Seriously so comfortable. Of course in deeper snow youll get some in around your ankles so wear real boots for any real snowfall. I ended up buying my other son a pair as well. The first pair had a small issue where the rubber lace split open where the tightened is. I emailed support thinking they might be able to fix it but they just sent me a voucher instead. I was able to fix it myself with a tiny screw driver and lots of patience haha. Anyway, bottom line is, these are perfect for your little one to wear to school when its just muddy and wet or after a large snow when its melty. Theyre light enough to be easy to maneuver in but still super warm and dry like a boot.
