I only wear Auth. Chinos. BUT...
3 new lame-nesses:
1. The new V belt loop is very lame.
I wear my shirt tucked in occasionally at meetings & it looks very stoopid & juvenile.
2. Also the New Coin pocket is lame.
It was perfect, hidden & useful.
Not so much now.
3. The bright RED tag in the pant cuff is LAME. I have to cut them off my cuffs. I'm sure 13 year olds love these New "improvements."
Ps. I've spent thousands of dollars over the years on vans shoes & chinos etc. almost since '66'

Got the 28s and they are more like 28 x 32 than 28 x 28. Wish they'd just provide the length to avoid wasting my time.

I have 3 pairs of Vans' chinos in a 31. Needed a new pair so bought the exact same style and size. I don't know who changed the length/inseam but they are WAY too long. They hem of the pant leg is a good 2-3 inches past my feet. I am an average size dude (5ft 10in) just slender. Tried to exchange them at the local store here but apparently the only option is to get a size smaller, which still has a long inseam. Ended up returning them. Kind of a bummer I have to find a new place to buy pants.

I have a few pairs of these pants, most of them are a year or two old. I bought a new grey pair awhile ago and the stitching on the zipper and a pocket was messed up but I had already cut the tags off so I didn't bother returning. Upon buying my second pair I finally realized they just lowered their quality because the zipper isn't YKK anymore, there's still some issues with stitching, and the pants just don't feel like they were worth it tbh. I'm only keeping them because I bought them for work.

I wear a 32/33 in regular type pants, so i got a 34 in these just to be safe. They fit great knee down, but it barely fit over my hips and couldn't even button them

I ordered the size my son always wears in these pants and they are 3 sizes too big. I asked to send them back and I was given the run around. I'm surprised because Vans is usually so great.

I loved these pants, but the crotch ripped out after owning for maybe 4-5 months of light use. I had the right size they weren't tight or anything, the crotch was just weak or poorly stitched. It's a shame cause they were great but I can't recommend them.

I love the pants but they don't give you a length option. I went with the size it recommended and it fit but I'm a shorter guy and they dont fit length
