I bought a metropolis parka years ago and love the quality. So i bought the metropolis jacket 12/21. So disappointed that the hood keeps unsnapping. So many negative reviews about the same issue.

Great for our cold winter weather. I've been looking for a new jacket to replace my old North Face jacket. It's been awhile but I finally found it in this jacket. Very figure fitting and stylish!

I like most things abou this jacket except the detachable hood. It keeps getting unbuttoned and coming out.

I do love this jacket however the hood continually detaches.

Love Love Love. I was looking for a slim fit down jacket that wasn't too puffy (could pick well). I love everything about it. it hugs my curves, is long enough and very comfortable. Also like that you can't really see the level (hate labels on clothing).

The main reason a don't like this jacket is the hood, I wish can fix it with a zipper

This color is perfect so is the length. It is great at keeping you warm. For a woman's large it's a little snug in the chest area even for slim fit.

The hood keeps coming off. Even with normal wear. So annoying. Also the zipper is small. I have to fight to find it and zip up esp the pockets. I'm always on the go and this jacket is a pain. It's warm and stylish. But these 2 things are deal breakers for me.

Slim fit. Almost no space for other layers, but material quality seems nice.

I love it. Lightweight, comfortable, not bulky, warm.

I really liked the quality of this jacket. Top notch really. Great insulation, perfect amount of thickness, super comfortable. The things I didn't like so much were the look. The waist cinches to give you a more fitted look but it was still loose for me, I got a medium, but I also tried small and it fit better on waist but too small elsewhere. Also I loved the idea of a removable hood but it on your head just looked a bit strange. Doesn't sit very well. And lastly the back, don't like how it is longer in the butt area because one it covers your butt and 2 it would get dirty easily sitting as I had the white jacket.

Great jacket , only down fall is the detachable hood is not sturdy enough . Buttons do not secure , pops off often

The jacket is worth the buy, keeps me warm and hugs my figure

Warmest Coat Ever! Washes easy!

Very warm for under 50 degrees weather. It fit as expected. I like how I don't have to overlay, a simple long sleeved shirt is enough to keep me warm.

Live in a walking city and wear nearly everyday. Extremely comfortable and actually has a shape to it (which a lot of puffers lack) making it more flattering

So so warm! I've used it during a winter storm and you gotta believe that I wouldn't have survived if it was for this jacket! The best. I ordered in a bigger size so it can fit other sweatshirts I want to wear, but even with a shirt under it I can assure you you will be ok to go out.

I gave a Beautiful, Metropolis North Face Jacket as a gift to a 18 year old girl. Her mother had brought jacket after jacket for her to try from various brands. They never fit her or were to her liking. She and her mother came to my home. I gave her your North Face Metropolis Jacket. She tried it on. It fit perfectly and she didn't want to take it off as she loved it so much. Her smile would light up the sky. Perfect fit, perfect gift. Thank you so much North Face. I opted to go for a larger size thinking it would be a little oversized (I have the older Denali and it’s a little snug), but the jacket is actually true to size. Just too large on me, but the quality and color is very nice. The only complaint is how the hood is attached. It would be much better and secure if the hood was attached with a zipper vs snaps.

Great jackets that keeps you warm. Is reduced in the chest area so for a baggy fit might want to size up.
