I have a metropolis long coat that I have had for many years and absolutely love. I decided to buy the jacket as an addition to my winter coats. It appears that the quality is good except that the hood snaps do seem to snap off and are made of plastic. I never had this issue with my metropolis long coat hood. I had read reviews that some consumers are not satisfied because of this. Overall the fabric and fit seems spot on. I am 5'7" and 116 pounds and I purchased a small jacket which fits well. I couldnt wear a really thick sweater under the jacket as it would be too snug. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because I think the snaps are not the quality they used to be.

I returned the longer version for the short version and I love it! I didn't need the longer version living in the south but this one will keep me warm AND cute during the Georgia cold weather! My only regret is, although I love the jade/mint color, I wish I had bought the mauve color!

I love the way this jacket fits. I am a busty women size 16-18 and this jacket complemented my figure. The only huge issue is the button snap hood. The hood easily unsnaps from jacket. Since I like to wear my hood in Seattle weather this really annoys me. I also wished the logo was embroidered. I ordered size 3x

Color is good. The material is great. Neither the xs or small fit me and I'm usually one of the other. I'm 5'2 and 110lbs. The xs was too tight and the small was way too loose. I returned both. I wasn't a fan of how this jacket was made to fit. I love my small Gotham II, which I believe is an older style of the same type of jacket.

I loved the style of this coat and thought it would be perfect until I wore it outside. The cold air just entered the inside of the coat from the hemline. No way to fit that! Sent it back. If you are just using it for style, it's a winner.

I didn't like the design and fit of this jacket

I'm excited to wear this and give my daughter the matching coat in her size. I ordered a size on the bigger side so that we can still wear a sweater underneath and not feel a super tight fit. She will have a little room to grow into hers and then I can always give her mine and order a new color for myself when she grows into mine. North Face has always been life-long quality to me.

We live in Alaska. One of the coldest places in this world. During the winter the weather reaches the negatives. Paired with The North Face sweater, she stays warm. It is a beautiful coat.

I love this jacket so much! The fit is very flattering as it tapers at the waist. I got the sage color. I'm 5'1 and weigh 120lbs and I got the medium so I have some wiggle room and wear a sweater underneath.

I love the style but it is small in the arms. I usually wear a medium but not i this coat. Very warm and nice quality.
