I use this as an everyday coat in the milder months of winter in Maryland. 20 degrees n up. But u Need more when it's in the single digits. I bought a size up from my usual medium so I could layer up.

I LOVE this jacket. Husband bought me a large to fit my growing pregnancy belly through the winter, I exchanged it for a medium because I wanted to wear it forever, not just during pregnancy. I think he was right though in the sizing! Size up if you need to add a layer underneath. Fall is just hitting the PWN and I want to live in this jacket. The medium fits great and provides more of a fitted look. I do however agree with the other review of the arms being more snug. The arms are the reason You can't wear a light jacket or sweatshirt underneath. 10/10 would recommend!

As someone who hates donning a coat again at this time of year, the Shelbe Raschel Parka has changed my outlook. I just received it in black and can’t wait to wear it this afternoon! The interior is so soft and it’s the perfect length-enough to cover the entire bum if you’re sitting down outside. The XL fits perfectly except for the arms, which are roughly 2” too long and a bit snug at the top. That said, I may order the mauve and/or olive as well since my coat selection consists of just down puffers and dressy long wool/cashmere coats that I wore into the office before the pandemic. Now that I am retired, an in-between style is more appropriate. This coat isn’t for sub-zero temps, but will be perfect most of the time! The white is beautiful, but probably would be hard to keep clean. I am very picky when it comes to coats, but this one is a keeper!

This long jacket has a beautiful shape, and the fabric is typical TNF high quality. But as the heading states, it is too tight in the underarms for me.

I had waited since Covid to get this coat. I am a heath care worker and was not able originally to buy this with the discount offered to Frontline people as it was Sold Out. Now that I have purchased it, I am disappointed. The craftsmanship is not what I remember from NorthFace. I have. Denali that is going on 20 years old and shows minimal signs of wear. This coat will never last that long never mind the logo that is no longer Embroidered. It fits true to size if you are average. If you are slightly larger on top or bottom then it may fit you snug. The sleeves feel a bit short, probably because of the material. I wish the hood detached my personal preference. I am going to send this coat back, very disappointed that I waited for so long and NorthFace changed the quality of the item.

Unfortunately Northface has replaced their embroidered emblem with an iron on. Disappointed and will most likely send this back. Afraid it will peel and fade quickly.

I bought this coat for myself, bought a 2x I put it on, I couldn't believe It didn't fit me in the shoulders I gave it to my 16-year-old daughter who is tiny and wears a medium, it fit her! Who are they sizing these jackets on?

This coat is so soft and light but yet warm enough for Chicago weather. This is a great everyday light coat. I'm in love.

I love my new coat, it's so comfortable and warm, best in mid thirties and up. I get so many compliments on it and the off white goes with everything. I'm so happy I purchased this.

The length is perfect. It is soft on the inside and keeps the wind and elements out. It is not too heavy or bulky.

I love that it's lightweight but still keeps me warm.

Love everything about this coat: the fit, style, and warmth. It has a high collar and the hood is nice and warm: but wear a scarf if you want the hood to stay on when the weather is windy.

I am obsessed with how soft this jacket is! It is the perfect late fall/early winter coat since it keeps you so warm when its not time to bring out the full parka. Highly recommend.

Great length! Perfect for j cold hockey games! Not too bulky and super soft on the inside.

This well made and really cute coat didn't work for me. The fit was a bit off, but I'm a tough fit. What I am amazingly impressed with is the outstanding customer service. I exchanged this coat for a larger size...and ended up returning it ...and the process was incredibly simple. I called the customer service number regarding the exchange...and the rep could not have been more engaged and helpful :) I've been an Amazon customer forever, but I'm taking a harder look at Zappo!!! Excellent experience :)

It was hard to find my size, but easy to order and ship to my house. I wish shipping was faster for less than my first born child.

Bought this jacket for a trip to D.C., it was perfect for fall weather. Warm but not bulky. Flattering and comfortable. The inside is so luxurious and soft! Would highly recommend!! Might size up if you plan to layer. I usually wear and Medium and bought a medium.it fit great with a typical long sleeve/flannel style shirt.

The fit is flattering. I hate coats that make me look like I'm wearing a circus tent so I was happy to find this one. Size up if you plan to be able to layer a lot.

With this year's odd temperatures; I finally got to wear to watch our daughter play soccer one evening! Perfect length to sit on a cold metal bench!
