i purchased this jacket for my granddaughter.. she is in her first year of college. she loves it. she is taking classes in interior decorating and has to carry some cumbersome items to class. she said it is easy to move around in. thank you north face..i am a very happy grandmother.

The fit is comfortable and stylish. I especially like the length and the quilting on the inside.

I've been loyal to North Face for about a decade now. This new Snow Down Parka is reinvented as a beautiful, lightweight WARM and STYLISH jacket. The color Wild Ginger is sooo beautiful and neutral that I receive compliments all the time. Do not think twice about this jacket if you like it. I put this on and absolutely fell in love with it and that's how I knew I was ready to commit LOL.

I love it but the zipper is difficult to zip. Regardless, its a great jacket and keeps me warm and dry.

Finally! I can go out in the cold sometimes with only a tee shirt and feel completely warm. The color and fit are stylish too. This will be my forever winter coat!

We live in the mountains in the US Pacific Northwest, and the Women's Snow Down Parka from North Face is a perfect addition to my winterwear wardrobe. The parka is lightweight and streamlined (not bulky), as well as waterproof and breathable, and, yet it provides significant warmth and comfort on cold, blustery days. No problems with the zipper, as others have mentioned, and the exterior pockets are large and secure. The only downside is the lack of an interior pocket (or pockets), but the outer pockets are large enough to carry gloves and valuables. I absolutely recommend this product.

Absolutely love this coat!

I've been looking for a good, warm, waterproof coat for quite a while, but look matters a lot to me and this is the first one I saw that I truly loved the look of. The wild ginger color is stylish and unique, and I love that the fabric is matte and doesn't make much noise. Also having the subtle logo at the bottom is SO much better than having it right on the chest, please do more of this! It feels like you are wearing a warm fluffy duvet. I had some trouble with the zipper at first, but I don't now that I've sort of broken it in. I do wish there were side slit pockets for resting your arms and maybe an inner pocket, but I got this on sale and for me it was worth the price I paid despite not having these features. Plenty warm for NC winters, but also warm enough for colder climates if I do any winter traveling. I've already gotten many compliments! For size reference I am around a size 6 and purchased a medium. I tried on a small and it could have worked too, but I wanted a slightly looser fit for layering underneath if necessary.

Very warm winter jacket - stylish enough to wear with anything. It's comfortable and easy to grab and go for rainy, snowy, or windy days.

This is a truly great coat! I was looking for something waterproof - the winter coat I already had was supposed to be "water-repellant," but whatever coating they used to make it that way must have worn off after the first season. I live in New York and really need a waterproof coat for walking my dog when it's in the 40s and just warm enough to rain instead of snow. This coat really is perfect for that - it's very warm and so far, definitely waterproof as advertised. I am usually between and Small and Medium and opted for the Medium to allow for more layers - the fit is exactly what I wanted. Overall, would highly recommend!

I live in the Northeast and this jacket has proven to be my number one grab off the coatrack any day the weather gets ugly. The length deters the wind from sneaking in, the insulation is top notch and keeps me cozy, and the fabric is luxe so I feel glamorous. It's perfect for walks, prolonged periods in the sleet/snow/wind, and dashing between your car and the shops/gym/yoga studio/etc.

It's a great winter jacket. Keeps the cold away. Perfect length.
