The shape and style of this jacket is very nice. The body and length is a good fit too - true to size. The material though, is much more dull and has a matte look - it doesn't have any sheen as the photos show, and it always looks a little dirty. It's also very hard to keep clean, any dust/ dirt does not easily rub away. The double zippers are convenient if you can get them to zip up. It usually takes me 5+ tries to zip up this jacket, and when I'm in a hurry, it's really frustrating. Finally, the hood, as always on North Face jackets, is too small. I have long hair and often wear a pony tail or a bun and the hood does not fit my head unless I wear my hair down. I've just removed it, since I can't use it half the time anyway. Overall, I'm really disappointed in it and would not recommend.

Big and baggy I returned - was looking for something more flattering.

I really really wanted to love this coat and keep it! It felt so lush and soft! I felt like I was under my warm comforters. I go to the gym at 5am so having this coat would have been a great motivation to get out of bed. I am 5'2" 128 lbs, ordered a size small. It felt nice and for me, the sleeves were perfect. The length felt fine. However, the placement of the pocket was so strange and low! I had to stoop down to put my hands in the pockets. I read some reviewers mentioning the same thing but I was crossing my fingers for it not to be true for me. It's almost as if TNF placed the pockets lower because of the belt. I just couldn't get past the pocket flaws especially when I'm paying so much. I had to absolutely love it 100% to get it. Sadly, they were returned.

This is a beautiful jacket but not for me. I know the fit is meant to be "relaxed," but it was simply way too big in the arms, chest, and too much bunching of fabric for a size small (I'm 5'8", 140lbs, average bust). The semi-shiny inner lining seems very high quality and I liked the adjustable belt and arm length, as well as the overall length of the coat. I tend to like a slightly slimmer cut and fully understand a winter coat will be a bit bulkier, but I just think this wasn't the right coat for me. There were so many rolls of fabric when I sat down and just felt extremely puffy in the coat. There are also two zippers pulls on the coat, and the one that stays at the bottom jingled a lot when I walked. Unfortunately returning.

Way too large

It ran really big. I felt like I was a walking sleeping bag. I loved the length but made me look 100 heavier

I returned the jacket because I was expecting it to be thicker and the belt to be of stronger quality.

I had to return this coat. I really wanted to love it, but it was too large and I ordered my normal size. I am 5'4" and short waisted and it looked like I had a giant hump in the back. I also did not like the feel of the material. I love my other North Face coat, but not this.

We live in Toronto . /Canada . / I'm Disappoint it . Wii Return it to Sporting Life store' . Not a Warm Parka at all ! Avoid !

It's a beautiful jacket I purchased for my girlfriend. It is , however, not as warm as the price tag suggests. Upstate New York dog walking was a no go and sent back. Will Purchase a warmer one from NF

Not for Chicago weather if you're looking for warmth. Very thin for the price.
