I just received this coat in the mail and I am pleasantly surprised how well it fit. I am plus size (5.8' 240) and the XXL fits perfectly with room for sweaters and such. However, the buttons are extremely annoying which is why I gave three stars. The buttons take a while to snap and some buttons are harder than others. It's going to take at least 3-5 minutes to get this jacket on and buttoned all the way, with that said, it's not necessary to always have the jacket buttoned. Just know that the buttons are a little difficult.

Very light and comfortable, but was too tight. I purchased my regular size, an XS, but found the waist and hips to be very snug. Wish it was a roomier fit.

The coat itself is very nice but way too small even for being a slim fit. I ended up having to return it which is quite a hassle because it's been a month since I shipped my return and it still hasn't been processed yet. Anytime I've emailed the north face about any updates in the return status I would either not get a reply or receive one days later. I'm surprised and disappointed that they lack responsiveness in customer service.

Seemed warm and well made but the off center closure down the front was awkward for me. I wanted a warm casual car coat. The closure was too much trouble for easy on and off. I'm 5'4 135 lbs and the medium was a good fit.

My daughter liked both is cost and the metropolitan coat. It was a hard decision but she went with the other one.

This product is nice but not stylish, no fit with my body measurements.

I love the parka but I ordered it the next size up but the cut of sleeves are sewed too narrow. And the bottom of the parka bunch up when walking or sitting. Overall I enjoy my first North face parka. Next time I will order a size larger.

Love the zipper and snap options sometimes feels a bit bulky. Sadly the biggest downfall is the sleeves are too short. :/ I didn't realize it until I wore it this winter and can't return now.

Measurements not standard of north face

I thought the jacket looked great in the pictures, I love the offset button closure. I ordered a size up based on reviews and being a few months postpartum and this jacket looked so frumpy when I tried it on. Had I ordered a size down, I don't think the chest, shoulder area would have fit.

I hate the zippers on this jacket. It is impossible to close pockets and buttons!

My other northface jacket was warmer

I have several North Face jackets and I always take a large. This one was too small. Called to return and exchange it via mail and I was told it could take 4 to 6 weeks. They recommended I drive to the closest North Face store which is a 40 minute drive one-way. I did drive to the store on a snowy Monday afternoon. Guess what? The store was closed for inventory even though the website indicated it was open. So.... I had to drive back to the store the following week. Of course, this jacket wasn't in stock. I think I'm giving up on North Face.

No style compared to the original...please bring it back!

I received this as a Christmas gift. I was excited about it until I put it on. It makes me look square shaped. The picture on the website shows the coat form fitting in the back. This is false. Also the zippers are very small. I couldn't find one zipper because it was tucked deep down into the pocket. The zippers should have bungee cords if they're going to be that small.

Runs small, real hassle to exchange, have to return and start new order for different size, wind up charging your card twice until they receive return.

Did not like this coat at all, the off center zipper was very awkward. The length dipped alot lower in the back which you can't see in the pictures, very unflattering unless you are very tall. Sent it back.

The quality was very poor

Purchased this parka for my daughter who was attending a wedding on a glacier in Iceland. Imagine my anxiety as she texted me from the glacier stating her Northface parka failed her and shes soaking wet !! It rained right through her parka !!! Thankfully someone gave her a jacket but her pants were still wet. Iceland in February, the coldest month. I am beyond frustrated, upset and disappointed with North Face.

I own several north face jackets and have been very happy. Thai particular one does not state slim fit. Make sure that's what fits you. I've sent 2 messages to north face after returning and no response. Also have not seen credit or acknowledgment of my return sent approximately 2 weeks ago. This is not the service I would expect of such a reputable company.

Very cheaply made. I have leggings that are thicker than the shell of this coat. Not warm at all either. Returned for a refund

Everyday I am pulling feathers away from the coat , I understand it's a down coat, but I shouldn't have to pluck feathers every day from my coat it's annoying as ever!
