Bought this shoe in a 14 wide. After reading some of the reviews that it might be tight in the toe box I was a skeptical. The shoes arrived and after a week of wearing them I have to admit it is the most comfortable tennis shoe I've ever worn. Extremely comfortable with plenty of room in the toe box.
I'm also on the court 6-9 hours a day....and can say this. Another great shoe from New Balance.

New Balance finally returned to the quality they used to have. The shoe is roomy and has great cushion and is very supportive.

The material was too stiff for my liking and I think these would have taken some time to break in. The main reason I'm returning them is because when I put my orthotics in them, my heel was slipping up and down when I walked. So these are not really made to accept orthotics because of the heel cupping thing in the back. I love the look of these though. I wish they could have worked for me for pickleball.

I just started tennis so I am not the best judge when it comes to tennis shoes. But these seem fine the 2 times
I have worn them

I've worn this pair through several matches now and find them adequately comfortable. I find my ankles less sore the following day which was getting to be a concern with my previous pair. So far no visible wear on the sole - which seems early but with other 'match' shoes I was seeing wear even after only a few matches! These seem solid enough to last a while. Toe area is roomy which some may think is a negative but I feel no sacrifice in control or reaction.

The show is designed for Tennis. My son has a big foot 15 1/2 wide but we can't seem to get the basketball shoes we need. The Kawhi's have not come out with anything for some time now. He has a few pairs of those but time is running out for them. The Tennis show was nice but he had a hard time with the toe shield that they use more for tennis when they drag their foot on the court to protect the shoe. We are New Balance fans but we will still have to wait and see if they do new Kawhi's. Finding a 15 1/2 wide in any brand of shoe is not the easiest thing to do !

Great cushion, but supportive so they don't roll over the sole when you stop short. they break in a little slower than the 996 v3, but still very comfortable from day 1. My only critiques are that the laces are not durable and the rubber on the toe helps, but if you toe drag at all there needs to be more protection on the outside of the toe box. I play about 8 hours a week and went through these in about 90 days, but ordered another pair.

Side comes up a little too high for me and hits my ankle bone. More of a basketball shoe than a tenis shoe.

The soles is very nice and comfy, but why would NB make a tight toe box on a 2e shoe? I even find normal NB 2e too wide, so this is designed way to small.

Good lateral stability, uncomfortable around ankles (although padded, too tall on lateral malleolus), much wider toe box in D width than original fresh foam lav of same size. Should have left version 1 alone--was a better shoe for me.

The Fresh Foam X Lav V1 was the most comfortable tennis shoes that I have owned (and I have been playing tennis for 30 years). The V2 are ok but definitely not as comfortable as the V1. I thought that they would get more comfortable after few games but they have not. Please bring back the original design!

My son turned me onto this shoe and he doesn't mind the colors that are available but for me the choices were either ugly or boring. So I got the white ones and customized the finish with a sharpie and changed the laces...

I have wide feet but have never bought anything wider than EE. These still feel narrow in the toe box, particularly closer to the toes. It feels like they taper at the end. Otherwise I feel like they offer a lot of support and cushioning. I also paid $25 for one-day shipping and it took 5 days. Still waiting for my money back.

Same size opening for a men’s size 14 as a women’s size 7. Why can’t shoe companies realize bigger shoe size isn’t just longer toes? Not a good fit. Not designed to be made at size 14.

These seem more like basketball shoes than tennis or pickleball. The sides come up a little high and hit my ankle bone so I'm returning them.

Some Nike's are good, although I've found their fit to be inconsistent.

Shoe runs narrow compared to MC806 2E. Not available in 4E. Overall build quality suffers compared with leather topped 806's. 806's still the gold standard for New Balance tennis. The company is going in the wrong direction by emphasizing multiple styles/colors and should stick to wide width availability with a smaller but better quality lineup, IMHO.

Fresh Foam X Lav V2 fpr Tennis not as comfortable as my FF running / walking shoes. The tongue seems flimsy. They hurt my feet. Love my Fresh Foam running and walking shoes.

Hard plastic that turns inward around the outside of the ankle. Very stiff very uncomfortable shoes. Styling is cool but they hurt the feet.

Feel better/ighter vs other NB Tennis shows, but my new shoes are bloody ... both slides due to the tongue scrapping my ankles.

It is too narrow for a size 11 EE width. I used to wear the 806 size 11 EE, but it is no longer produced. This fresh foam model fits totally different, hurts my feet.

Ordered these new tennis sneakers for tennis. I have a wide foot and thought they'd be ideal. I played my first match and wore them for 2 hours of play. Extremely uncomfortable. Felt like hard plastic surrounded my feet. Rigid and not supportive. Definitely would not recommend

Shoe is falling apart after only about 10 uses. The sole is splitting and coming apart from the Shoe and New Balance states they do not cover this under their "sole" warranty. DO NOT BUY. I expected a lot more from New Balance and their customer service for a defective product. No quality controls in place.
