I am loving this jacket in the Illinois winter! It's so warm, the color is exactly true to the photo on the site. I love how the sleeves and torso fit nicely fitted with some room for a sweater underneath. The tall neck is so perfect to ward off the wind, as is the longer length. I'm 5' 7" and about 175 the Large fit me perfectly.

I was a little skeptical buying this jacket since the reviews were about half of half. A lot of them talked about how the hood just falls off. Personally, I have had absolutely no issues with the hood falling off in any way. I spent two weeks in Japan in December with this jacket and it was perfect, warm yet lightweight and comfortable at the same time would definitely recommend it. Also, the cinch at the waist makes it very formfitting and not look bulky! Was very impressed!

All I need to say is that this coat keeps me comfortable throughout the nasty northern Illinois winters.. This coat replaces the same exact North Face coat I have worn for the last several years. When it wears out, I will buy the same one again.

Comfy and warm! Has everhtning I'm looking for in a coat

I initially ordered a size up (XL) from what I thought I would need (L) based on previous reviews. I'm 5'9" with long arms, 150 lbs. I was swimming in the XL but the L was perfect! I can wear a thick sweater underneath if needed. This coat is so warm & I love that length!
