Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam 860v12

I run about 35 miles a week and have worn only New Balance for as long as I can remember. I need a stability shoe and I prefer this one to 1080. You would think 1080 would be a better shoe than 860 just based on its number, right? Nope. I love the 860 for its roomier toe box, and good cushioning and stability. My feet are never uncomfortable in these shoes. 1080 toe box gave me toe bang and I couldn't stand how uncomfortable it was over the top of my foot even when my laces weren't tight. Choose this shoe if you are deciding between the two.

These shoes are super comfortable. They have a great arch support in them as well. I use them for gym and wearing around the house. When it's time to replace I will buy these again. Just wish there were more color options.

I have been buying New Balance version 860 for years! They are my favorite running shoes! I can run so much faster with these on. Thank you, New Balance! I used to have foot pain, but these shoes encouraged me to run again! I am so happy! I highly recommend these shoes!

I've been wearing this model for many years. It has a nice wide toe box so my pinky toe doesn't wear a hole in the side after a number of months. And the fun colors are an added bonus.

The 860 v 12, returns with the "old heel cup" that we had in the v 10 edition, without the rubbing and pain. The 860 v 12 is lighter than prior shoes, without giving up or compromising its medial post. I transitioned to this shoe after 15 + years in the Brooks Adrenaline, after the Adrenaline ditched it's medial post, and transitioned to a stable-neutral shoe. The 860 v 12 are a superior shoe to Brooks Adrenaline, and are a great every day trainer for those who over pronate, and are looking for a tried and true medial post. Sure, it's not the lightest of sneakers, but in regards to stability class, New Balance has made great adjustments consistently making this shoe lighter, more responsive, and keeping it affordable. Thank you. New Balance, I can't wait to take these on a few more runs :) and retire my 860 v 11's :)

I've had foot problems since birth and a Lis Franc injury two years ago almost stole my mobility from me. It was such a severe injury that after surgery I didn't walk again without assistance for almost six months. Thanks to my Fresh Foam 860s I'm back to walking 3 or 4 miles a day and hiking in the Columbia Gorge with my family. I've tried other shoes but I always wind up lame the next day. I just wish there were more solid colors (in all the widths) because except for business meetings and special occasions these are my street shoes too.

I have wide feet, need a wide toe box, and have plantar fasciitis. These shoes are amazingly comfortable. I've been wearing them for three weeks now and haven't had to put my orthotics in them because my feet do not hurt.

Having a narrow foot means I normally have to purchase boring, plain shoes. Not this time!

I walk 3-5 miles at least 4-5 days a week. Shoes are very comfortable and provide the support I need Would also like to say I had an issue with a different pair of NB shoes and NB customer service was exceptionally helpful and responsive. Was very impressed!!

These are my go to running shoes! I always get the same ones and they are so good. They work great for me! I don't do a lot miles, I do sprints. 3 miles is the most I do at once.

Walking great sneaker and comes in wide. Many of your shoes Do not Just ordered 2 more pairs of different shoe Now have at least twelve pair of different NB

These are great shoes! They are very comfortable and very light on the feet. They provide the stability for my knees.

Fantastic shoe I have to wear inserted lifts on my left shoe due to a botch tip replacement and a lengthening of the right leg I require a size 11 1/2 extra wide shoe I wish I had known that these would work so well I would've purchased different colors in the same size that are now not available to me

I wear to work. They make standing all day bearable. I am saving to purchase a second pair so I can switch out shoes.

I love these shoes! I've probably bought about 10 pairs over the last few years. I'm in the medical field, so I'm on my feet all day! One of the best things is that I have a very narrow foot and I'm able to buy narrows!

I wear these shoes ALL of the time with very very few exceptions. I finally have shoes that don't make my hips, knees or feet hurt!

This is such a great stability shoe. I'm a distance runner, and have had issues in the past with tendonitis, etc. These have truly been helpful in helping me to remain injury free.
