Loved them but too big. Ordering smaller size.

This was my first time purchasing docs as I was very hesitant due to the sizing. These are beautiful and super stylish a classic. They feel a little big but wearing thick socks does the trick. The part of the toes is where it feels a little big but using insoles can help.

I normally wear about a 7.5 which means I size up to an 8 when there's not an option otherwise. So I can wear like an 8 in nikes. A lot of reviews say that doc martins are too large. But personally, I would prefer a larger fit and just wear thicker socks than a shoe that is too small. They do take a little time to break them in, but I love the look of them. I am very much a black and gold kinda person, so I think the gold eyelets are a nice touch. I have yet to see just how waterproof the shoes are, but I feel like they could handle snow or puddles fine. 10/10 would buy again

Top quality, very well made. Love the extra swatch at the base of the laces. Fit as expected. Comfortable, not too stiff. My only complaint is the hard sole, not any cushion.

Ordered these a half size larger than shoes - that way the fit was right on wearing regular socks, no pinched toes or tight instep. Love the style, and the waterproof factor is super. Very comfortable for Dr. Martens. Snatched up the last pair. Looking forward to tromping around happily for years.

I love the style of the boot to narrow across the top of the shoe, but does loosen up with wear.

Just hated the constant zipping up & down, and couldn't wear without using the zip up - too loose.
