In defense of these tights: they are amazing. They are fuzzy on the inside but not overly thick, so you feel cozy but don’t start sweating your ass off. As for the small side pockets, no big deal. You can awkwardly stick your hands in there before yoga class and that’s all you need. The back pocket at the waist band is where it’s at. It’s takes a minute to get your phone all tucked in there, but once it’s in, you can run up a mountain and fall down the other side and it ain’t coming out. I search for clothing items rather obsessively and these meet all my OCD requirements. The brown color is cool too because it’s neutral but different and just as flattering as black. Get ‘em.

These tights fit amazing! I?m 5?4, 140# and bought a size M. I love the compression fit and the back pocket. I can squeeze a water bottle in the side, it sticks out a little but won?t fall out. The snug fit around the ankle is great for wind blocking. No issues with any kind of slipping or falling down, they stay put! They will work best for temps down to 20, but below that, depending how long you run, your legs will get cold. I am usually running in 0-5 temps for about an hour and need something better to shield my upper legs. I pair this with the thermal notch hoodie and shield 2.0 jacket, great combination for winter running.

Great thermal tight bottoms, very comfortable. It has the convenience of a back pocket to place the phone or any other item. It?s also true to size.

My daughter and I went trail running. She fell three times hard. No holes in pants. These are truly great quality!!!

These are very good quality, warm leggings, without being too bulky. I run outside during the Utah winters and don't get cold when wearing these. They are flexible and flattering as well. I am 5' 1", 110 lbs. and bought a small. They fit well, besides being slightly long, but I have very short legs and am used to that. I have several different brands of fleece lined leggings and these are hands down my favorite.

Wanted to love these because I was looking for warm cozy thermal leggings but the pocket is so small that my phone won’t fit unless I jam and shove and even then, it sticks out. Back they go.

Warm and comfortable

I love these tights. They kept me quite warm this past winter with all the bitter cold and wind!

My favorite pair. I love the way these fit. Not too tight in the ankle/calves for me. I'm 5'7" and an indoor cyclist so that's usually where pants fail me. Have been wearing to run outside at around 20F and they are perfect! Might even just wear day to day. My only complaint is the small brooks decal started to peel after the first wash.

Great and warm tights. I usually wear an x-small but the last tights I ordered are tight so I ordered a small. I think i needed the x-small. I am 5' 3.5" 115lbs and these are a little big but not too big that I can't wear them!! I wore them on a morning that it was 29 out and hey were great!

I've owned these for a few years but just always remember why I love them after every cold run. Today I shoveled in them for 75 minutes and sledded for 30 and, yes, my skin was a little red underneath afterward, but I was comfortable. The side pocket is clutch, too.

The search is over! I'm 5'0 with a petite frame and finally found tights so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them. I ordered an XS and the inseam is the perfect length, ending right above my ankle. I wore them while running on a sub-30F snowy day and they didn't fall or budge at all. The fabric is smooth, soft, and compressive without being constricting. To top it all off, the blue color is beautiful!

Very warm and I love the way they feel

I got a few wears from these during our last cold snap. They were comfy, warm and very supportive.

I am pleasantly surprised by the warmth of these tights. Have been a fan of the momentum pants so thought I'd try the tights and glad I did! Quality, comfort, warmth, aesthetic appeal...nothing missing in this product.

Very well made tights/leggings which fit great and are comfortable and attractive.

Keeps you warm, even on colder morning runs. My legs felt warm throughout the run, even if it was windy.

Best thermal tights in the market

Just got my 2nd pair and these are warm, comfy, & fit well. 1st pair is size L, my usual size for Brooks tights & shorts. Have been wearing them for biking, and they keep my legs warm enough down to about 35F w/wind (feels like 25). BUT, they're rather large, and despite pulling the cord tight, still sag a bit for walking & running. Wore the 2nd pair in size M for a 5k that was hovering around freezing with light snow, and they were almost a bit too warm by the end, but fit very well.

5?8? 135lb. Bought small and they fit exactly how I?d want them. A little tight in the ankles to get on and off, but once they?re on and you?re running they stay exactly in place. Great for cold/mild weather.

These are great tights - nice and toasty on cold days. I normally wear an XS in most tights but typically purchase smalls in Brooks. I did purchase a small in these and the waist slipped a little - as in fell down some - which drives me nuts. However, everything else was great. I probably should have ordered an XS -.

I used them with a base layer to wear under our gear for snowmobiling in crazy cold weather! Comfortable and warm!!

These tights are perfect for cold weather runs - I usually wear them when it?s 30F or below. They?re cozy when you put them on and can breathe a bit when you warm up. I love the back pocket for my phone and the side pockets are perfect for stashing gloves or a hat. Overall, excellent weight and material.

Well-designed thermal tights. The pockets are a perfect addition and don't stick out at all when not in use. I ordered the rust color with a matching top and love having them as a set
