These are my go to pants for years. Comfortable and stylish to last on a run or going to watch the kids at the track.

The cut is anatomically perfect for running, not floppy but not excessively tight. Some reviewers pointed out that there is a seam near the knee. That's true, and I thought it might bother me, but it doesn't. It would be ideal if it could be eliminated, but I presume the garment designers did it for a specific reason. The choice of fabric is good. I have worn these a half-dozen times, and it appears that they will both wash and wear well. For me, they work well between about 20 and 45 F.

Awesome to run in with temps under 40. Awesome to run in over leggings with temps in the 20?s. Plus, casual and stylish to wear anytime.

I literally wear these pants every day! I prefer them as a casual lounge and recovery pant as opposed to using them during running, but they are also light and comfortable for running or layering. The calf is tapered, so it does tighten up a little at the calf - I ordered a size up to ensure they'd be loose throughout the leg. The waist isn't too big and there's a drawstring to tighten if necessary! - A happy Brooks employee

Exceptional jogger. Love the light fabric. Excellent mobility. I have muscular thighs and extra large calves. This jogger works for me. I can even where a 150 base layer underneath if needed. The seam above the knee was concerning when I first tried on the jogger, but I have never had an issue and now completely forgot about it. Highly recommended.

These pants just replaced my running shorts for a cold and snowy winter. They also became my new home lounge pants. But still acceptable to run errands in.

I was hesitant on buying as I bought these online, but I?m glad I did. Super comfortable and built well. I can tell these joggers are durable and will last me, which means I get my moneys worth

It is exactly what I was looking for. It is tapered, but not a running tight. So far, so good! I used it for a run at 13 degrees with wind chill near zero and I was okay, but that was pushing it without wearing long underwear underneath. The only to make it better is if it had zippers at the tapered ankles to help get them on and off a bit easier, but it's not a big issue for me.

Good running pant. Light weight. Mediums fit 6'. I wanted a little short as pictured in description. Haven't tried them in the rain yet.

The pockets are handy and the pants keep me warm. They move with you pretty well, I can barely tell I'm wearing pants. The seam just above the knee is a little weird feeling at first, but you get used to them pretty quick. I recommend these pants.

I'm a woman and I really like these. I ordered small (men's) and usually wear a women's medium. I've mainly worn them for comfort/around the house rather than training, but am looking forward to trying them skiing. Good pockets.

These are great. I was looking for lightweight pants that weren?t super tight and good for cold weather (20s/30s, wind). The fit is perfect (I?m 6?, ordered a medium). The one design flaw is the pockets: the opening is so narrow I can barely get my hands in, and when I?m wearing even lightweight gloves I can?t use them at all. Maybe Brooks can fix that in a future version, but otherwise these are great.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I have many Brooks running gears and size M always fits me perfectly, but this Spartan joggers seem to be an exception. The inseam is a little too short, the opennings below the knee are very tight and the rise of the pants is very low. And also the material is on the heavy side, so overall, this pants is not a good choice for jogging. I hope Zappos would do a better job in providing more details and sizes about their products in the future.

I was excited about getting these, however the inseam is too short. I wear a size Small, however being 72" tall- these don't look right on me.

They would be nice joggers but the sizes are off the medium is too tight and the large is too loose.
