I haven't had a chance to really put these through the paces, yet. I bought them for deep winter runs along the lake in Chicago. But, they fit well. Good materials and cut. They look well made, and I have confidence that they will satisfy the need when the time comes. My only beef, which is a small one, is the eDevice tips in the forefinger and thumb. They're a little too stiff for my taste. Seems like they're made of leather. They work OK, but not quite as nimble as a softer material would be. Not going to be an issue for me as I will be using these primarily only while running, and that means just a few taps on the watch here and there. Otherwise, another fine Smartwool product.

They run small - order a full size larger than you normally would. I think they are warm enough for 'training gloves' but if you're just standing around in freezing temps, these might not be enough. They don't feel very fleecey on the inside, but they seem sturdy enough and I like them :)

Perfect for outdoor running when degrees are 15-30 degrees. Lightweight and they work well with my phone.

Very warm, I used these on a cold 28 degree morning ad was comfortable.
The bad thing about them is that they STRETCH OUT! After a couple of long days of hiking, taking them on and off to do various things, they stretched out a lot making it impossible to use my fingers when wearing them since they had gotten so big. The size chart says to use the larger size if you are in between. I would recommend using the smaller!
Also, beware, these are not washable!!! I intended to use them for hiking and backpacking, I have to be able to wash them. I love smartwool products because they are always so easily washable, I was pretty shocked when I realized that these are not.
I gave them 4 stars because they are warm. I wish that I had gotten a smaller size. Additionally, I have no idea how I can use them if they are not washable. I suppose they would be good for someone using them in pristine, cold conditions avoiding food, dogs and dirt, etc if you size down.
This is not my lifestyle but what they are made for. I am sorry for the money I spent on them since they are for city use, not trail use, I guess?

I just bought a pair for my mom - because my pair are 2 years old and still going strong. I love them for walking my dog, and winter activities where I get warm easily! (x-country skiing, snowshoeing)

I bought these gloves to use on cool blue bird ski days. I tested them on my daily commute before I hit the mountain and they have great dexterity and a trimmed profile that didn't feel excessive for everyday use. I love the soft feel of the merino wool, and the e-touch fingertips are pretty reliable. Despite concerns about their ability to hold up in snow, I was pleasantly surprised with how warm and dry they kept my fingers!

These gloves fit very well, and they are thin enough to function (aka pick up after my dog on a walk) all while keeping my hands very warm. I already purchased a back up pair, and a pair for my partner.

Better than I thought! These gloves are now my go to winter driving and running around gloves. They keep my hands warm and the fit is not loose but just right.

I used there gloves in 25 degree weather while running 15 miles hands stayed warm. I bought the medium and a small liner thinking I would wear both on colder days

great fit, good look. Time will tell if these gloves work for me in the dead of icy winter,.... but so far they're keeping my hands warm in the chilly weather (30-40 degrees)

I would like it if there was some sort of thing to keep the gloves together when they're not being worn

I love them!! I have RA and gloves are hard to find that don't have the fingers too long. Purchased the small and they are molding to my hand. They are wonderfully warm too for a WI winter! Going to buy some for my wife before she steals mine!!

This glove has not been tested below 30 degrees yet but so far has kept my hands toasty and dry. Fits well; I ordered size L although measured 8" (which would be size M per chart) since my fingers are long (also measure 8" in length). Flexible enough to leash dog, do yard work.

I've tried a lot of different gloves since I moved to eastern Oregon and hadn't until now found ones that were worth anything. These work great! I usually wear them for walking my dog but also have worn them for shoveling snow and xc skiing. I can't tell if they're a little too big or just perfect - I don't want them to be too tight and constrict my blood flow but there is a little extra room in the fingers.
