These mitts are surprisingly warm for how thin they are, excellent for casual wear or winter sports. However, the thumbs are strangely long, making the mittens a little uncomfortable.

These are slightly less warm than I expected them to be (they're categorized under the cold weather section at the time of writing), they sort of feel like wearing knit socks on your hands. But they stretch, conform, and layer very well with gloves underneath them! I'm a fan

Using it to go dog walking. Bought a larger size as I read they fit small. Had to pick a sizing above but not true to size.

I'm pleased with the quality of these mittens. They're lightweight and well constructed.

Very thin material for a mitt. I returned because it didn't make much sense as a mitt. The material was also not as soft as I would have expected.

These are great mittens for running. Often mittens are too hot for running. I like the merino wool. My skin gets so irritated by other types of wool, but there is no irritation with merino wool. I like that they can be machine washed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are a little narrow relative to length. I bought size small and I have tiny hands for an adult. They still worked out for me and I will purchase another pair because it is difficult to find a good pair of running mittens. #sweepstakes

Even the large is a bit small for my hands, but they were perfect liners for my partner

I love mittens and I love wool but these are super thin and have been tested in the most recent snow event. Kept my hands warm until they got wet with just a little snow...i will keep looking for something thicker and waterproof.

This fit well and are soft but are not warm at all. They suffice for driving or a quick in and out, but anything longer, these are no good. When outside in MN winter, I can instantly feel a chill through them. A bit disappointed.

I wish these kept my hands warmer. I figured there would be more wool in these mittens than there actually is and they really don't keep my hands warm even running in 20*, no wind weather. This was one of my more disappointing purchases from Smartwool.

Too thin to use. Like they were socks and added a thumb. I would not order.

Bought this pair in Gray to replace my striped mittens from SmartWool that got a hole in them that I purchased a few years ago... Unfortunately these are nowhere near the same quality, They are ridiculously thin and not at all warm, and the thumb that they say is smartphone able doesn't work either. It's sad when brands quality starts to go down, makes me question if I will be purchasing from this brand in the future.

I love Smartwool socks, but these mittens are useless. Perhaps they're mitten liners.
The mittens fit accordingly, but they didn't keep my hands warm in an indoor heated auditorium. They're on level with three dollar cotton mittens.
Not a tight-knit like their socks. Just frustrating.
So disappointing from Smartwool.
