There was no way I could easily slip these shoes on. I almost needed a shoehorn. My size is 9-3E and I ordered 9.5 3E. I doubt a 10 would have done the trick. They were snug, and tight, but maybe would have been fine after a break in period. However, I was looking for a slip-on to easily get the paper, etc, and not something that was more difficult to put on then lace-ups. My other issue (and I don't know what Moderate, No or Excellent means in arch support) is I have a very high instep. And the top of the shoe dug into my foot. They were pretty comfortable, and I felt that over a break in period they may have been okay had it not been for the seriously uncomfortable situation with the top of the shoe. Liked the look. Weren't comfortable.

Extremely comfortable, lightweight and look great. These shoes are perfect for staying at home (you can wear them as clogs) or for any casual occasion. Liked them so much that I ordered a 2nd. pair in another color and material. Even though I like the look of the wool models, I believe the nylon ones are better. Great for walking especially in rainy weather. I live in a warm climate and neither the nylon nor the wool have been uncomfortable. Feet stay fresh.

These are great. I wear 13, but chose to go up to 14 in these because they fit tight across the top of the foot. That was the right call. Nice casual look. Grab em and go. The collapsing heel is just like Olukai's. Very nice shoe. Good value.

Very comfortable but needed 1/2 size up to fit.
Also they are impossible to get on without a shoehorn.But once on. Very comfortable and looks great with jeans.

These shoes are great. The only thing is the ad shows the collapsible heel for slipping the shoe on easily. It collapses fine when you insert your foot but you can wiggle your heel up and down all day and it won't work. You have to reach down and pull it up over your heel. Other than that, it's a go to shoe for me.

Could be a very good shoe. Great footbed and sole. Looks okay for an around the house knock around, but getting these things on your foot is a pain in the rear! There is no heel cup structure and no finger loop to help pull this on.if your foot is wide like mine, good luck.

The shoe did not meet my expectations for an indoor shoe and the sizing seems off. Prior reviews recommended a size higher but even that was tight.

I have an odd foot size that can range from 10 1/2 EW (think 3E or 4E) to 11 EW depending upon the last on which the shoe is based. This shoe was advertised as being roughly EW (and also 3E). The 11 was a bit too short and definitely too narrow. The 12 is working just fine. Nylon construction is unexpectedly warm. have worn them for grocery shopping and other errands. Very comfortable and very light.
I'd also recommend:
I have had the most consistent luck with Dunham, as well as Clarks.

I like this shoe's appearance more than its design. It has a tab above the tongue which would be much more useful if it were located in back above the heel. This would make the JAVA easier to pull on and push off.

I ordered a half-size larger than my normal size as some recommened. The shoe fits well. The shoe has a designed collapsable back, which is frustrating. That makes it difficult to put on, even with a shoehorn. The collapsable back, in my opinion, is a design flaw. It serves no useful purpose. Once on, the shoe is very comforable.
