I was excited to be getting (I thought) an actual size 14 - and wide - as so often shoe sizes stop at 13. Although they felt good, they were clearly WAY too small! And definitely not wide, they crushed my toes together. Very dissapointed in Dearfoam as I have worn them for decades and in the past even the 13's fit my size 14's well enough. Not sure what's going on here?!

Suggest buying the product up a full size, although keep in mind the slipper will be tight out of the box and then loosen up as the shearling compresses. The quality is second to none. I particularly like the thin rubber sole which allows me to wear them inside or out without issue.

I first ordered these in my husband's usual shoe size (12) but I had to return them for a larger size (13). He says that they are super comfy and warm and I would order these for him again. They look to be a good quality house shoe.

Warm and Comfortable

Have a pair of Uggs & I have to say - these feel more like slippers and are so VERY comfortable ( & feet don't sweat !). Uggs have a heavier sole & are just not as relaxing to wear ( & louder on solid surfaces ). I'd give them more stars if I could. FYI - I normally wear an 8.5. The 9 is perfect (& they don't have 1/2 sizes).

Slightly small

I bought these for my husband for christmas. He generally wears a 12.5 wide, apparently I ordered him a 14. He LOVES them and marvels that his feet get warm but don't sweat--that's because they are genuine shearling and leather!

I normally wear a womens' 12WW and the mens' 11W fit super comfortably. I find this shoe more comfortable than sneakers or other flats. But what amazes me the most is that my feet never feel hot or sweaty. I usually don't tolerate wearing slippers at home, but I literally forget that I'm wearing them. I bought a second pair so that I can have one for inside the house and one for outside. Normally I want my shoes to match my outfit, but these are so comfortable it is hard to care. My husband has been telling me for years that shoes should be comfortable, and I never really understood what he meant until this shoe. Going to be getting it as presents once they restock!

Perfect! The person I bought them for loved them!

This slipper is beautiful. Feels so wonderful on the foot. But the 11 was extremely short. And the 12 was too long. The half would have been perfect.
