First, these are like sneaker/snow tread/slip-on mocs. Such a great idea for throwing on a pair of shoes in cold weather and light snow. I am not yet able to give a full review. Whle I've ordered several pairs of Merrell footwear and I've always been a perfect 9.5 in size, these Sneaker-Mocs have a quilter outer layer that is TIGHT. I could slip my foot in with a little help from my hand. Once on they were extremely comfortable in the ten minutes I tired them on around the house. When I tried them on with winter socks and just regular socks, I could NOT get my feet into these shoes. I was afraid I would break them somehow if I forced it. So I exchanged them for a half size up (10). I would love to give these shoes a 5-star rating. I likely will when I get the new size. They are great shoes that run small.

Once you get it on, this is a great shoe. Getting it on is problematic. As with many shoes now, the run up toward the ankle is so narrow/tight that getting your foot into it is challenging, so plan on extra time to get them on. I'm hoping that they will 'give' a bit over time and be an easier on/off.

I bought these last winter and was happy to have a warm, comfortable shoe for walking the dog and running errands. They've been mostly good so far but the inside heel on one shoe is starting to wear through, which is disappointing since otherwise the shoes have been holding up great.

Great house shoe. I live in Fairbanks, Alaska and very acclimatized to cold temps. I have worn these shoes with warm socks to the grocery store in temps down to -15. My feet got cold. Ok-to-good shoe to slip on and take out the trash, check the mail, go to the grocery store, go to church. But don't associate these with an every day "winter shoes." At negative temps, feet cold. Any snow accumulation and the snow comes in over the side/heel. But great house shoe in cold temps. Easy slip on. Fairly comfortable and good grip. Would I buy these again? Probably not, and certainly not for the price.

The construction quality is good, however, the lack of insole cushioning is the weak point of this shoe. The purchased price point allows me to overlook this poor insole. (I wear the shoes occasionally; around the house, because they are easy to slip on and off.)

I order these shoes in my normal size 11. They were so small that I almost couldn't get my foot in to the one I tried. Had to return them.

I have always had to have a 10.5 size shoe. These were on the small size.I could have used a wide size but that was not offered for the price. I have returned the shoes for a refund. I do like the return process. It was very helpful and fast to get a return label,

Overall the shoes are comfortable and I think they'll do the job for winter. But just be warned the blue color is nothing like the picture on the website. The site shows a bright royal blue. What you receive is a washed out silver blue. Not even close to the site pic. I'm honestly quite disappointed.

I want to like these but they are a mixed bag. Traction on them is great compared to other slip on mocs. Vibram ice sole is tough to beat. Northface Thermoball slip ons as a comparison don't have the great traction but are WAY, WAY warmer. My feet were cold in the car for a while on the drive home skiing. I didn't think about waterproofing until wearing it the other day in the middle of a heavy snow storm. Not the end of the world, but didn't go jumping thru puddles later in the day. Super comfortable & had no size issues other reviews had mentioned

I have given Merrell my valuable time reviewing 4-5 pairs of shoes/hikers I have purchased through the website in recent years. In every one of those reviews I gave my honest feedback regarding the highlights, and a few lowlights on the products purchased. Every Review I posted came back to me (rejected) via email stating Merrell will not use for reviewing a specific item (shoe) for one reason or another. This was unfortunate as it would have given consumers feedback that could be have been used in deciding what shoes to consider or not to consider. Mostly, I have commented on how Disappointed I was in any Merrell Shoes built without the Vibram soles (used for serious Outdoor usage/hiking). The difference in fit and function regarding shoes using Vibram soles was found to be significantly better than the non-Vibram Merrell's I have owned & tested here in the Pacific Northwest. The Non-Vibram Merrell's I have purchased in the past pretty much sucked for any serious hiking/trail runs and are now in the landfill. I know Merrell will not post this honest review/response that could help so many consumers out there With "Good" decision making on future purchases and for this reason I have unsubscribed to Merrell's website and will no longer be purchasing shoes through the website store (shame on you people). Any future products/footwear with the Merrell name will only be ordered/purchased through other websites such as Sierra for significantly less $. show this response to your customer service department.

Be careful when ordering this shoe. Mine as oversized and fit so loosely that wearing my thickest socks didn't improve the fit and feet. Sadly, this shoe will most likely collect dust in the closet.

Sorry, I didn't like these. Most importantly, the foot hole is too small. I couldn't get my foot into the shoe wearing sock liners under my regular socks, and had to struggle even with just thin socks. I was looking for something I could easily slip on to go out to the curb to my mailbox or get the newspaper in winter. Also the shoe is much stiffer than I was expecting, especially for something called a "sneaker moc". I expected something flexible and comfortable.

This felt at least 2 sizes too small. I couldn't even try it on. I verified size and fit but it was just too tight. I can't believe it was what it said it was. I would return but I used a rewards portal so I would have to give up those airline miles. I guess I'll just resell on my own. SUPER DISSAPOINTED....

This was my first pair of Merrells, but others in my family have ones that they love, so I figured I would try them out. The concept is great, and the cushioning and traction are good; however, I have to say the arch is problematic for a size 13 as it seems to follow them midsole and extends across the width of the my feet. As well, it feels the arch is too far back towards the heel. The end result is that the sole pushes up into my foot as I stride along. After about 1 miles of walking, the mid-sole seems to soften where the awkwardness is not as bad. The final issue is that the sole is a very soft rubber that wears fast. I have less than 50 miles on them and the heel traction is down two-thirds. On the bright side, they are relatively warm, and the moc construction is comfortable across the top of my feet. All-in-all, I would love to find some feedback from others in my size range to see if they have the same issues with the arch since none of my other shoes from other brands have the same issue.

My wife bought these to be slip-on shoes for her father, who has advanced dementia. The top of the shoe (what would be the tongue on a sneaker) was completely inflexible. They were impossible to slip on. She gave them to me and I couldn't get my foot even halfway in. It doesn't matter what size the shoe is if you can't put them on! Completely unusable.

I bought MERRELL NOVA SNEAKER MOC last fall at MARATHON. At first, I was very satisfied, as they are super comfortable, warm enough, easy to wear, and look good. They get wet, but this is normal for such a material. but I was not a happy buyer for long, as the lining on the sole began to peel off. Then again and again in different places. The rubber pads do not stick to the base of the sole at all. They have already been repaired 3 or 4 times, despite the fact that I use them in the apartment - car - office mode and use them as additional shoes, that is, not every day. Despite the fact that it is a VIBRAM sole, which should have been quite reliable. I've had positive experiences with MERRELL shoes before, but this time I'm very disappointed. I do not recommend buying this model if you do not want to get such negative emotions as I have...
