I bought a pair in burgundy and the stitching came out after a couple of months. Bean replaced them under guarantee with a grey pair. Three weeks later they are doing fine. I like Bean's styling but the quality has gone way down from the old days and I am leery of ordering things.

40 is my usual European size/ 9.5 US size. These slippers were huge in a 40. The pair I received looked as if they had been worn and returned. This turned me off, so I did not try again with a smaller size. I returned with the label provided and am still awaiting a refund, two weeks later. I was assured that the $7.50 normal return fee would not be deducted from my refund, do hope that is the case. Probably will not use this site again, not worth the effort and the risk of paying return shipping fees. And these slippers were not very special for $110, boring in fact.

These are definitely warm and although they felt a little too small at first, they stretched after a few days of wearing them and they fit perfectly right now. But they were so expensive, you basically expect for them to be almost perfect and unfortunately after only a few days or wearing them the seam ripped. I'll show details in the picture below. So I want to love them but I don't recommend paying so much money for something that can break so easily.

Love the look but the fabric was too stiff. I returned them. I would still recommend as some people might like the texture

At the time I ordered these, Bean's site advised that the Glerups size chart should be consulted due to it being different than Bean's sizing. That part was fine, EXCEPT Bean created a hassle for the customer by not providing a "click here for Glerups size chart" link. So the customer had to go to the Glerups site and hunt for their size chart to see the differences. I looked up the slippers again and that caveat is now gone from your Glerups page. Otherwise, the slippers are nice quality. They would be worth the money if not for the sizing hassle. I ordered my correct size according to the Glerups size chart but then they were a full size too short. They were returned.

Because of the stellar reviews I'd read, I was willing to shell out the $95 for breathable but warm slippers. Generally speaking, they do the breathable job pretty well, although they're not as warm as I'd hoped. They also fit a little strangely, making an odd thumping noise with each step I take. So overall I would say the slippers are worth maybe half the price I paid.

These slippers fit well and felt great but the bottom has very little cushion. It was hard like walking on the hardwood floor which is why I am buying slippers.

These slippers not only run small, but they have absolutely no arch support...actually no support at all. I would return them, but the hassle is not worth it. I really wanted to love these slippers, they are cute!

The slippers I originally ordered were too large. I returned them to exchange for a smaller size. First, it took weeks. Second, when the replacement pair arrived TODAY there was literally nothing in the box but the 2 slippers. They were not wrapped in paper, no cardboard in the slippers, no tags. Nothing like the packaging for the pair I sent back. Obviously this pair is used as evident by the left slipper - its dirty. I am so disappointed in LL Bean. $100 slippers and this is what I get...

They didn't fit well. My heel kept flipping out of the slipper. I returned them.

The shoes basically had no shape-they were so wide I don't think they could fit anybody. And the grey felt had many dark splotches on it-not attractive at all.

This slipper FEELS comfortable, but resulted in a sore at the top of the fool. Perhaps cut a bit too high?

I had to return them. Beautiful wool slippers but too wide for me even when wearing wool socks. I wish they were available in narrow.

I've had these for a month, and only worn them for a few hours. I bought some cheap Chinese knockoffs to compare, and have mostly been wearing those. These were more comfortable, and were the first slippers I've had where my feet don't get sweaty (the knockoffs aren't bad but they're a bit more sweat inducing). The problem with these is that, after about 6 hours of use, the felt is coming apart and clumping into balls of wall that are detaching from the sole. So they are not at all durable. This is especially disheartening given the price. For the first few hours I would have rated them as the best slippers I've ever had; now I can only rate them as the least durable slippers I've ever had.

Disappointing because the leather sole is slippery and the body of the slipper is flimsy. Even though the sole is flat, my foot falls off to the outside as there is no support. They seem like they'd be great, but are just ok. I wore them around the house and they scuffed so I can't return them, but would have certainly returned them if I hadn't scuffed them.

I love the glerups... but they just don't hold up! I can't be spending $100/year on slippers. Looks like I'll have to find a new brand again and hope to get something that doesn't rip after 13 months.

First off, $95 is a lot to pay for a slipper even if they are as great as everyone says. Secondly, the European to US size conversion chart is not at all accurate at the top end. I wear a size 12 and occasionally a 12.5 so ordered the size 47 as the majority of these reviews said "True to Size." Well, they were at least a full size too large and I returned/exchanged them for a size 46 which arrived yesterday and are also too big. Not going to risk sending back again (and being charged return shipping again) to find a size 45 is actually true to size and fits me like a 10.5 would. Like my wife says "clothes and shoes should be purchased in the store, not online."

First off I want to say that I purchased these for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves them. I just recently purchased these for myself and I'm not sure what to think. I will say that I absolutely love the warmth and coziness I feel the moment I slip them on......but unfortunately, even though I wear a size 7 and ordered these based off the recommended size chart.....they seem a bit too large; for instance when I walk in them they constantly slide up and down on my heels which is annoying. I want them to fit so badly because I love everything about them but can't stand the way they constantly rub my heels as I walk in them because they just don't fit me "well enough". I am too afraid to order a size down for fear they will be too tight. I'm sad. I really want to keep these but am not willing to settle for "good enough" at this price point.

Glerups don't last long. I haven't had mine for a full year and they're just about at their end. They shed so that every time I step out of them little pieces of wool come out with my feet.

The soles are extremely uncomfortable, as if they had a roll of cardboard down the center. I've followed the instructions to wear them for three weeks, and they're somewhat better, but not nearly what I expected after reading such glowing reviews (including Wirecutter.)
(I would not recommend them. I ordered Size 39 to wear in the house. This is not my first LLBean purchase)

I am so disappointed in these slippers. They are very uncomfortable and caused blisters on my heel where the fabric overlapped. I've never had to break in a pair of slippers.

The ll bean site said that if I sign up for emails, then I would get a 10% off coupon. So I sign up. They send me the coupon which magically doesn't work on the shoes I ordered. This is ridiculous
