I absolutely love my Glerups, and have worn different styles: slip-on, shoe, and boot. Note on sizing, based on my experience and that of other family members: These slippers are extremely accurate on their sizing...as long as you know your EU size. I noticed that some other reviewers complained about the fit - too large or small - but those who stated their U.S. size and what they ordered weren't converting correctly. If you're at the top of a range stay in the range, don't size up. If you're between sizes, you'll likely be better off sizing down. Yes they will be snug at first, but the felt gives and adapts in short order. In fact, if you size up the slipper will likely become looser than you would prefer well before it useful lifetime ends.

I purchased the Gelrups and the Sanita Felt Lodge Shoe. When the Sanita came I tried it on and thought... these are pretty comfortable. Then as I walked around I thought they might be too small, so I set them aside. When the Gelrups came I tried them on and found that there is no support, and the heel sits lower than the rest of the shoe, sort of like the old "earth shoes", which I don't like. I put the Sanita back on and what I like about them is the cork insert. It has great arch support and molds to your foot. While the Gelrups are pretty, and I really wanted to like them, comfort wins... the Sanita Lodge shoes are keepers. The Gelrups are going back.

They're good looking, but lack support and the fit is too big- I am a solid 42 in all shoes and these feel a size too big. The heel feels lower than the rest of the shoe, and my feel hurt wearing them after a few hours around the house.

These are very high quality wool slippers that fit well and are really comfortable. Yes, they are expensive, but I expect them to last and to wear well. They have no arch support, which I don’t find a problem. If I wanted, I could insert a pair of orthotics, but at this point I don’t feel I need them. Thank you Zappos for offering these slippers and Glerups for making such a high-quality product.

These slipper shoes are super comfy - warm and cozy on the foot, without being hot. The rubber outsole rolls up the sides a bit, which is nice for weather protection but the shoes sacrifice a bit of stability with that. They feel a bit "rounded" underfoot. It's not bothersome, but is noticeable. The raw edge of the shoe opening makes me a bit nervous about it's durability long term. So far they're holding up OK (two weeks in). I'd fee better if they had a fabric band stitched to the opening for protection. Definitely a better build quality than the Sanita Lodge shoe (that blew out the heel hem within a week or two).

These are a little pricey, but the quality is fantastic along with the incredible warmth they provide. I think I found the manufacture (Glerups) for all my future slippers. I highly recommend these to anyone.

I'm mystified. How can people wear these with the rounded bottom? There's nothing flat to stand on. My son and I both felt these were unwearable. Yet people love them.

I like the fit and feel until I walked about in the house. I could feel the ridges of the sole through the shoe and it was not comfortable. Maybe it is the rubber sole that is the problem (?). I may try the leather sole but will think about it. It is and expensive slipper not to be "just right".

While the overall fit was good, the upper inside edge of each shoe's heel pressed uncomfortably into the tendons of my wife's foot. She tried to cushion that with moleskin but nothing will stick to the wool material of the shoes. We considered shoe stretchers but decided against that out of concern that might damage the shoes. The next larger size was not an option since the fit of these shoes was ideal (except for the heel issue). She's going to try the Glerups heel-less version next.

I use these slippers as house shoes, but they are also happy to walk briefly on a snowy or rainy deck. They feel sturdy and structured, with the thick wool retaining its shape. Normally slippers start to bag out with wear, or their leather bottoms get too smooth, so I love that these don't have those problems. I've worn them daily for months and there is no sign of the upper splitting from the sole, and I feel sure I won't unexpectedly slide. If you like to scuff in and out of your slippers, these won't do; but if you prioritize not falling downstairs, these are gold.

I love these shoes. I have two pair and I wear them every day all year round (I’m in Wisconsin and we get everything between 80° and -20°) I feel like I’m wearing slippers all the time but they are rugged too

Left shoe was a bit tight but I have a small heel bump; it did stretch & I put a bandaid on it as well. It worked out fine!

I absolutely love them! So warm and I can wear them to my office. Plus I think eventually I might add some color with needle felting. Worth every penny!

I first bought the mules. Those are nice, but I have other ones that work better as slippers. The wool is thick, making them a bit too heavy to stay on my foot. So I decided to try these. They immediately felt right. Indeed, these are my new favorite house shoe. My normal shoe size is 45 (11 US). I don’t wear socks with slippers so I bought these a size down. They fit just right.

I loved the look and overall feel of this slipper but it had no arch support and not enough of a heel for me to walk comfortably - I have arthritis in both feet. I debated long and hard about returning this shoe trying to figure out someway to make it work because it was exactly what a wanted in style and material. In the end the arthritis won out.

This is the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever slipped on. Good soles. Snug and warm and solid.

Better than expected. Easy to take on and off. Rubber sole prevents slipping. No hesitation on purchase of this item in the future when needed.

I love the style of these and the very grippy rubber sole. Very cute and very well made. But, I did not find them to actually be very warm. Sad to return them.

These fit best without socks (as instructed in the pamphlet that comes with them) but they got stinky quickly. Besides, I'm not a big fan of going sock-less in the winter. I've stretched them out and can wear them fine with thinner socks, but I do wish they fit a bit better with all socks (or that I had known better and gotten a half or full size larger). There's been some loose fabric at the heel and inside the shoe that has pulled away. Doesn't seem to damage the integrity of the shoe, but I'm not sure if this shedding is normal or less than stellar construction. Overall I like them better than the stretched-out, clog-like wool slippers I was wearing before getting these. I think I'll try the boot style Glerups, maybe in a size bigger, for my next slipper.

Too difficult to put on and felt very narrow for my foot.

I really love these slipper but I returned them only because they are a bit too flat for my comfort. They almost felt like those “earth shoes” from the 70s, slanting backward. However, they fit beautifully and are very well made. The sole is thick rubber and moderately flexible. The felt is thick but fit great and were easy to slip into. It is possible I would have become accustomed to that feeling but I decided not to risk it.

These are adorable, I would love them except i have narrow feet, and sadly these are not for narrow feet.

Fit and size are perfect. Moderate arch support works for me. I couldn't believe I decided to spend this kind of money on the slippers, but I'm really glad I did. The wool outers are soft and luxurious feeling. The sides are on the sturdy side, which is fine. The grip bottom makes me feel very secure if I should be in a slippery situation. If that makes any sense. My feet are very very happy in them!!

True to size. The slippers felt very comfortable and incredibly warm as I wore them briefly outside in the snow playing with the dog. Very breathable as well since this was something I was looking for vs. the leather slippers I had before. Love these.
