My current purchase of Adrenaline 22 is the 5th pair of this model. I love the shoe for its underfoot support and the stability, but I rate a 4 because the shoelaces are much too short. I have had to buy 55 inch laces for each of the 5 pairs. Runners like myself who use the top lace lock holes need long shoelaces. Please return to your previous long, stretchy laces!

They have changed the shoelaces and they are very flimsy which makes them more difficult to tie.

I really like these Brooks shoes. They provide comfort and stability for my feet. I ordered the wide (D) width but wish they were just a tad wider. The fabric of the shoe does give a little stretch so that helps with the width. I did replace the laces with a longer pair because the originals are just too short to effectively tie.

Fit and feel for me is good. However the top material on one shoe is showing a lot of abnormal wear already. It's not affecting the functionality of the show but looks wierd.

These shoes are fine, theyre simply too big for me. I have recently purchased 2 other similar pairs of Brookes shoes in the same size and they fit perfectly.

I like these shoes, but I ordered a half size up as suggested on the website, and they slip a bit in the heel. Not sure if a smaller, I.e., shorter, size would be any better, or if it's more a heel width problem. They don't rub or give blisters, though, so it's ok. Also after walking in them for several miles right off the bat, the balls of my feet hurt when I took them off (not when I had them on!). I put a cushier insole in them which may help. I don't usually walk that far at one time, so I think they will be ok for my regular one or two mile walks. They are very comfortable otherwise. And, I bought them for walking, not running.

Good support, good fit for days I am walking or doing more cardio at the gym.

This is my third of these shoes. This pair doesn't feel to be the same quality as my first pair. It seems like manufacturing gets cheaper as the shoes move down its life cycle. It seems like the latest and greatest get the best quality but at the highest cost.

I had been wearing Asics for 15-20 years, but their newer models (too cushiony) caused painful calf strains. I went to a running store, and these Brooks were recommended. I absolutely love them. They fit my long, narrow feet perfectly, and they provide the support I need. My only complaint (that prevented a 5 star review) is that they wear down very quickly. In the places that make the most contact (outside forefoot for me), the tread on the bottom is gone after only a month. Asics would typically last three! This has happened in two subsequent pairs. I hope they can improve it on future models as I really like the shoe otherwise.

A good sneaker with good cushioning and support. However, the shoelaces are TOO short!!! ( they used to be longer in prior editions from several years ago so this was a conscious decision to cut costs on the part of management. How much did you save???

I love Brooks, brooks girl for life. These shoes are great, but for being on my feet all day as a nurse and for running I prefer the ghosts. These are great as well, I just find a little bit more support in the ghosts.

I have narrow feet and these fit great. I wear them to keep my plantar faescitis from flairing up. I just wish the insides were more cushy.

I was a Saucony fan but the heel slip has gotten worse overtime that I can no longer wear them. Wasted a pair bc I didn't try them out until after a year. Brooks is just as good with the best color offerings that I want to buy them all. Lol. I got the flamingo/black - so artsy! The only bad thing about these shoes is that they squeak badly with my custom orthotics I almost send it back; hence, -1 star. The baby powder didn't work but putting a dryer sheet between the orthotics and the shoes worked - thanks YouTube!
I ordered 2 more shoes to try out (divide 3 and Cascadia), which I plan on using to hike with. Will submit a review after the trial. Again, the color combinations are amazing. Brooks, please keep making your shoes with the awesome color combinations and patterns and I'll buy one pair at least once a year! Maybe I'll try ghost next.

Shoe laces are too short. They sometimes come untied. I can't enough put them through the last hole.

Good shoe. Did have to add an arch support recommended by foot doctor. I have plantar fascilitis...and my feet feel great. In fact, my coworkers were a bit envious of how fast I was running about chasing kids...Very nice looking in all black. I got permission to wear sneakers at work...but in black they were a little bit "cool" too----I felt good about myself in the black ones. ?
I'd also recommend:
My doctor said Saucony and chacos are good...I have tried chacos for planta. They are great so far.

I have worn Brooks Adrenalines for many years and this is the first time I have commented. After reading the reviews for the GTS22, I ordered the D width rather than the Medium. It was the right choice because the toe box is narrower and the medium would not have fit.. As mentioned, the back of the heeel is higher which is not a problem for me. The shorter shoelaces do present a problem tying if you need the second hole at the top.

I purchased this shoe on the advice of my physician. I am having back problems and this shoe provides the necessary support. However, I feel like I have gorilla feet when wearing them because the shoe is large and kind of clumsy. That's my personal opinion. The shoe is great, just wish it wasn't so ugly.

Shoes are great when it comes to comfort and support. They do squeak when I walk, though. Maybe that will break in over time. My last pair didn't squeak. Laces are too short to use the extra hole for snug fit at the ankle. I have to swap out with laces from a former design. Wish to bring back the longer laces, or have options when purchasing.

Liked the shoe, which was comparable quality to prior ones in adrenaline GTS series, but the laces are too short and don't have the 'stay tied' stretch to them that laces from prior models did

Comfortable for walking. Not sure about the sizing. Bought size 10, then returned and ordered 10.5. Foot slides to the toe when walking. Will try some shoe inserts to see if that helps. Shoe laces are way too short.

I like the 21s better. The toebox on the 22s is bigger, which I do like, but there's much less cushioning underfoot. I'm back to wearing my 21s. Sad face.

Shoe is supportive yet cushy. However, the folks at the Brooks telephone line do not provide proper advice about fit. I ordered according to their recommendation, but one half size larger would give the room needed for total comfort. In most running shoes I wear a seven, but a seven and a half is better in this shoe.
