I have been wearing Brooks Addiction for years. There are a great walking shoe, and accommodate my orthodics. However, with each pair I buy, the quality of the shoe gets worse. After approximately a month or two of wear, the material that forms the back shoe by the ankle, falls apart. I bought my shoes on Feb. 4, and as of June/July, the material has completely disintegrated and the the stuffing fallen out. At this point the foam that forms the collar of the shoe is falling out. Terrible quality.

Very comfortable shoe. I have severe arthritis in my feet and Brooks has never let me down! They?re soft, well cushioned and sturdy! Love them!!

The best for my feet. I like the fit and option to get a narrow size. The styling on this model is also very good.

I have worn Brooks Addiction for more than 20 years. Perfect for my feet. I know to order a larger size than needed for some other brands.
I'd also recommend:
None Brooks are the best by far.

It's heavier than the Ghost but is more supportive, especially if you tend to pronate. There is enough cushioning and arch support that I don't need my green Superfeet inserts.

I wanted the Addiction GTS 19 but couldn?t find it so I tried this one. Almost as good. Always feels good on ~ I use mine for walking.

I've been wearing Addiction 11 for the past 10 years (I managed to find them even after other models were released) so when I finally needed to get a new model of course I went for these in the same size. The support on my severely pronated feet feels great, but I'm stressed out that the fit doesn't seem right. The roomier toe gave me severe pain in my forefoot after a few hours of wearing them (just walking around at work, not running). I don't wear orthotics; in fact Brooks Addiction sneakers are the only thing that's kept me out of orthotics this long, so the extra room is not helpful at all. How should I go about sizing these? Will a half size down fit me better, or will the heel be too narrow? Should I just get orthotics? Would love to know so I can go back to loving these shoes!

Seem a solid upgrade from the 14 with perhaps more cushion. Can’t speak to support bc I use supportive insoles. Had to grab to extra wide - wish they had more options in this width. Brooks are great shoes fur activity. Worth the money.

I just bought my 6th pair of Addiction runners. Since 2016, this has been my favorite shoe! More comfortable than any other sneak I?ve ever owned! Very little break-in needed. I am a walker, but use them for hiking as well. They are easy on my one knee, which has a tracking problem. I normally wear a size 9 medium in other shoes, but since Addiction runs large, I need a 10 narrow (AA). Knowing this, makes re-ordering more Addictions easy! I look forward to the next generation of Addiction to come out! Thank you for this comfortable shoe! Robin P.

Addiction is the best. It is very hard to find a really good fit in a 101/2 narrow. You have done it. Please keep them coming.

The shoe fit in the toe box has become wider since 2020. I now get blisters on my second-from-the-outside toes that I never got in the many years before that I have worn the Addiction. Changing sock thickness, pads, and other attempts to fix this problem have not helped. Very frustrating, especially since my feet are extremely difficult to fit. I am not a runner, just a regular person trying not to have pain when I walk.

Ive tried many pairs on here, the best part is that you can try them for a month and see if youre satisfied, thats why I keep coming back. Because most shoe places dont let you return if you wear them. So, these are the most comfortable and only ones I have found that I can wear on a daily basis for a 40 hour work week. The only thing is that they wear out in a few months. And they racked up the price to $140the heal of the shoe keeps tearing, this is the second pair I bought and it was within a few months frame. One shoe already has a rip in the heal but Im waiting longer to fork out the money on another pair. Also another star down because out of the 20 some choices on the screen to pick from, 11.5 and extra wide gives me about 2 choices.

I?ve worn my new Addiction 15 for about 30 miles of walking over the last three weeks and I am still getting blisters on my heels! I have never had this problem with any of the other Brooks I have purchased. Wearing a narrow, I have very few options when it comes to buying shoes.

I developed plantar fasciitis last year. I have flat and wide feet. It's extremely hard to buy shoes. After being in pain for months, I needed more help in my shoes. I bought these with high hopes, the pain went down, but not completely at first. After 3 months of wearing these shoes, I can now feel a improvement to the overall pain (with helpful stretches too) of the plantar fasciitis. Will buy again.

I am not a runner. Years ago, I was having pain on the inside of my knees. My son-in-law suggested I go to a shoe store for runners. The employee said I was suffering from Pronation of my feet. She suggested to me that the Brooks Addiction shoe would help with my problem. Other than trying another style once of Brooks shoes, I have worn the Addiction shoe all the time. For me it?s the most comfortable and well-fit shoe. At the end of the day, I have no pain in my feet or legs. Thanks

I've been wearing Brooks? Addiction shoes for a decade, now, and they?ve made a huge difference in my life. With multiple foot issues, Brooks has helped me be pain-free. I am so grateful!

Not as supportive as the leather version but is lighter weight and a comfortable shoe. of course the fabric absorbs moisture so they are not great for inclement weather.
