The shoe feels tight, especially the toe box. The lacing system is horrible- flat laces through narrow slit eyelets. Not sure if I would buy these again.

Toe box seems tight, in addition to the shoe feeling tight. The shoe lace system is terrible. Flat laces though narrow, slit eyelets, and they don't lace up well. Definitely a form over function thing. Not sure if I'd buy the same shoe again.

I would give these shoes 5 stars, but the laces are not long enough for the shoes. That seems like a major design flaw. Please fix this issue.

I like these shoes. They fit well and are comfortable. These shoes get a 3 star rating due to the fact the shoe strings are extremely short. So much so I had to purchase longer shoestrings.

Husband wears extra wide 4E in this shoe. The black color shoes strings always are long enough. This time we ordered the grey. Not too many choices in wides. Anyway, the shoe strings are too short for this 4E. Few years ago the same. He switches them out but it’s odd why a non black shoes laces are shorter than the black shoes. A 4E needs long laces!

Compared to previous versions of the Adrenaline GTS, the 22 runs very narrow (for an EE width).

I think the key here is what you are looking for and the run shop I was in didn't pay attention to me and to be fair I didn't pay proper attention when trying them on. Should have done more research so that is on me. I was looking for something with a bit of return but fairly durable and the shop manager recommended these. I went for a run and found them pretty squishy. Hoped I would get used to them and to be fair they are very durable but they are not a quick runner. Not every runner can be but the difference in pace from this to some of my other runners is noticeable. I also seem to expend more energy in these trying to push it. These appear to be mainly for joggers and walkers and I should pay a bit more attention in future when dolling out the cash. Also sizing is way off as in head scratchingly. I am 9.5 and had to buy an 8.5. It was still roomy!

Very light. Looks and feels well made. The mid-sole padding is not as substantial as I had hoped. I purchased this model because it was recommended for runners with Achilles pain. While it does feel that some effort was made to include added support for the this area, I still have to use heel cups which alters the overall fit. Also, the shoe strings are extremely slick and difficult to keep tied. The result of the requirement to use heel cups and the slick strings required changing to elastic laces.

Hole in toe box after only 4 1/2 months, and I only run about 15 miles per week. Very unhappy.

Fat overstuffed marshmallow shoe does not give a good fit due to all of the padding did not have my size in 20 so I bought 21 big mistake.

Heel started squeaking after only a couple weeks. Otherwise it is a good shoe but the noise drives me crazy.

This is was a gift for my partner who has had the ghosts before. I had to return this pair because the sizing was way too small. I bought another pair of ghosts instead.

Too narrow and tight fitting. I wear a 11.5 in Asics and thought it would work for Brooks, but no luck.

Ordered these due to information stating they were good for overpronation, but I guess my overpronation is severe, because these sagged on the medial side badly! My girlfriend commented a few times that they didn’t look very comfortable and were clearly NOT correcting my overpronation. She was right (she’s always right). Returned these and bought the Brooks Beast 23. Now those are amazing for my overpronation! They keep my feet in a neutral position and are very comfortable on long walks (I don’t run).

I've been a Ghost user for several pairs now and thought I would try the Adrenaline but my feet did not agree with the fit of the GuideRails. Felt like I was standing on the rail and wasn't even comfortable walking around the house right out of the box so I returned and got the Ghost 25 which felt great!

I suppose critical reviews are difficult to judge real depth of issue, but here goes: I work 10s in a hospital, and often do plenty of volunteer work on the side, some casual, some intense. At first, the few months weren't so bad, but in less than a year, the seams around the toes and along the sides have already started to come apart, and in some instance, holes are so large that with a little tilt, you can see the socks on the inside. I'm not kicking balls for soccer or scraping against furniture, so all of this comes from climbing stairs, basketball play, and the like. It starts off well, but unless I got the lemon of the group, the subpar construction is going to be less than thrilling and you'll quickly find yourself purchasing a new pair a year later.

They fit very snug, and the left shoe took months to break in. I still don't love them. I wouldn't purchase again, but they're fine. My grade: C-

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Well, the Adrenaline GTS 20 was not broken and was the best athletic shoe I've ever owned. Brooks tried to fix the perfect formula with the 22, and for me, made it worse. There is too much arch support in this model and it has been causing me pain. The pain has lessened the more I've worn them, but I don't know if I'm getting used to it or breaking them in. My 20s needed no break-in and were great from day 1. I still use them for walks around the neighborhood or play time with the dog. Not sure if I will be keeping the 22s.

I love Brooks but these sneakers did not feel supportive, specifically on my right foot. It moves too much compared to the left and never felt snug/secure compared to the others I have had in the past. This is probably a fluke as Brooks shoes are some of the best out there and this will not deter me from ordering them again - but I am giving Hoka a try and they seem great so far.

The interior fabric started wearing away within the first couple weeks. The soles seem excellent, so it's a real shame because the entire area around my heel looks tattered and is falling apart, revealing and losing the internal foam.

I ordered a size 8.5 but the shoes I received were marked 8.5 but are way bigger. These shoes are a minimum of a 9. They are like an inch and a half longer than my actual 8.5s I got. Really kinda bummed I can't wear them. Not impressed.

Been having trouble with the laces being too short. Finally compared these GTS 22 laces with an old pair of GTS 20 laces and discovered the GTS 22 laces are ~6.5 inches shorter. Turns out im not crazy. Is pretty frustrating to tie micro knots or have my laces come undone during a run. Love the GTS otherwise.
