The Brooks Ghost 14 model accommodates my high arches and wide feet. I am on my feet all day and the Ghost 14 gives me comfort and support. I supplemented these shoes with inserts from super feet. After all these years of being a runner I have finally found the running shoe tailored to my needs with no deficits.

I bought these because the Brooks Beast were not available in my size now for months. They have given me quite a bit of Achilles Heal pain. They don't offer the same support as the Beasts.

Best Shoe I have had, I don't run, but need good support. These give me the best of both worlds. I spend all day walking on Concrete and these hold up well.

Very comfortable to wear. The size runs normal to other running shoes I've worn.

Great for recovery runs and daily wear. Comfortable bed, and supportive around the ankles. A bit too soft and almost spongy compared to the Ghost 13 - if you want to be able to pick up the pace or do any tempo work during your runs, I would recommend another model.

The heel/toe elevation is good to avoid shin splints. Great daily use shoes.

I?ve always been a New Balance person because I need 4E width shoes and NB seemed to be one of the few companies offering this 4E option in an abundance of styles. Then I saw that Brooks had a descent 4E offering and I picked up a pair of Ghost 14s. These shoes are great. They feel really solid and don?t feel tight at all. I can wear these all day and not have foot fatigue. I use these as an everyday wear and do not run or work out in them.

Have been wearing ghosts for 3 years now. The new 14?s fit different and caused a lot of back and hamstring pain. Wish the 13?s was still an option to buy

Feel great right out of the box

Excellent shoes. I have used the Ghost 14 exclusively for outdoor running. My outdoor running consists of grass, compacted dirt, exposed tree roots, and concrete. The shoe cushions well in transition and is flexible to comfortably handle the various contours and directional changes that I encounter. When this pair reaches the end of its running days, they will be replaced with another pair of Ghost 14. The Brooks brand of shoe will be the only brand I consider for my running and exercise needs.

I like the Ghost for a number of reasons. First is the soles wears even, which mean my feet aren't walking- them-over (I supinate/under-pronate). They are comfortable, and light weight. They last longer then any other shoe I've tried. When they become too ugly/dirty to wear in public, they turn into my work shoes until they finally rip or hole. I hope you never get rid of this model.

First time I ran on them it felt like I was running on air. Very soft. However, I felt the run get rougher the longer I ran. Each time I lace them up though, the first mile always feels really smooth.
