I was kind of disappointed with my purchase. I heard so many good things about the brand but when I received my shoes they felt really good at first until I went to work. I work 12 hour shifts at a hospital and by the end of the night the heels of my feet were killing my and I got it a week or 2 to make sure they were broke in accordingly but still no change so I went back to wearing my old shoes that was comfortable. I?m still in the market for a shoes that will give me the comfort that I need at work If any suggestion on maybe a different style or model I would be interested. I?m a bigger guy so I need the support.

Great shoe! Use it for walking bought 2nd pair

This shoe brought me back to running in a big way. I was an avid runner in my 20's (mostly due to being in the military) and used to put in about 5 miles every day or every other day. I had a freak accident involving a fence and popped lumbar discs (L4/L5) and had to have emergency surgery. I recovered well but was directed to stop heavy impact sports for a bit in recovery. The damage from the lumbar injuries left me with permanent nerve damage in my right leg and foot. I tried multiple brands and configurations of running shoes over the last 10 years and nothing was truly working for me with regard to joint pain relief/foot soreness. Enter the Ghost 14. I am no joke back to running 2 miles without any pain ANYWHERE! These shoes are the real deal so much that I am now back to looking forward to runs and exercise. Thank you, Brooks, I will now be a lifelong customer as you brought me back to a healthier regimen of life! These shoes provide ample cushioning and the inherent engineering feels like it makes you run more efficiently. It's hard to describe, but they just work like they were custom designed for your feet. This shoe is making me think about entering 5K's again, which is intriguing because I thought that life was behind me. Brooks has literally opened up a new future for me and my fitness.

This my second pair of Ghosts (12 and 14). Very comfortable and give good support both on the treadmill and outside running.

I wore Brooks shoes many years ago when I ran a lot. Now, in late 70s, I went to a pair for comfort and foot support. Running days are over due to deteriorating spine, but these shoes are bliss to my feet and make walking much easier. This review is for old guys!

I've always kept the same shoes for too long and usually had only one pair of running shoes at a time. After trying these, I immediately purchased a second pair of ghosts. I was recovering from major surgery after being unable to walk for more than 10 minutes for over a year. During recovery, wearing my old shoes I could walk .5 miles. I purchased these ghosts and was immediately able to walk 2 miles (now I'm at 4!) And it's allowed me to progress in physical therapy so much more than before. These shoes may very well have saved me.

Good traction on snow. Stable. Nice appearance.

I absolutely love my Brooks Ghost 14 shoes!! Best comfort and support shoes I?ve ever owned!!! Great looking and stylish as well!!

Not using these to run as my running day are behind me I use them during my morning walks (2-4 miles) I found there shoes very comfortable and soft on my joints which is what I wanted. Will buy another pair after 400 miles on them.

The Ghost 14 is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Right out of the box, it's like they were already broken in and feel amazing on my fallen arches. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who has trouble finding a comfortable fit in athletic/running shoes.

I love these shoes. Comfortable from when I first put them on. 12 hour shifts and great all day. Thank y?all for having all black shoes. It?s a must for work. Not everyone likes all these crazy colors!!!! This why I ordered two pairs worried y?all won?t have all black in the future. Jay Wilson

This is my go to short-mile shoe. I am a large runner (6'2"/200#) and this shoe provides the support and comfort to go 3-8 miles and bounce back for the next run. When going over 10, I noticed more discomfort so found another shoe for the long runs.

I have been using ghost for since 2014. They are my go to running shoe. The 14 are the most comfortable I've experienced yet.
