Ran 6 miles at a 9 minute pace on a rubber/mulch path. No issues, cushioning was great. Laces stayed tied, nice snug heel but a looser toe box, my ideal shoe.

I'm in a similar boat as others with the fit. I'd be running healthy in the Ghost 13 and was ready for a 14. Very tight in the heal collar. After about a week my heal started to hurt a bit and within 2 weeks achilles tendonitis. Was right shoe only, not left...literally felt like there was a bulge in the heal collar. Returned them already and went back to the 13.

At 177 miles of usage I’m in a complete bottom burnout. These held up significantly less than previous Ghost models (I’ve owned a lot.) I’m going back to Brooks Adrenaline for better wear.

Purchased online sight unseen. Been a ?ghostian? for many models and enjoy them. Yes toe-box is tighter than most but not inhibiting. Ran 5K right outta the box with no discomfort or irritation. Ordered the 11.5 as always. Some are complaining about laces loosening. My laces stayed put without a double-knot?I use a method where I loop twice to hold laces against the top of my foot so it doesn?t loosen as I make the bow?foolproof. Give it a shot as the look, fit, cushioning during foot-strike, and rebound are amazing.

Excellent shoe, perfect fit and just the right cushioning. Have worn the Brooks Ghost models since Ghost 09. They seem to get better each year. The 14 continues that tradition.

I am a 63 year old woman with fairly narrow feet and a high arch BUT always buy men's sneakers. They just fit better than women's which, strangely, always felt too tight especially in the toe area. I don't run anymore but walk a lot and am very active. Live in sneakers. I discovered Brooks Ghost with the 11, which I loved. Next one I bought was the 13 which was, too me, a vastly disappointing and inferior sneaker with not much support and not worth the money. Now comes Ghost 14. LOVE THEM!! Wow. My feet are soooo happy. Comfortable right out of the box. Support and so cushy. Maybe I should stock up in case the 15's are a let down?!! Got the black with the cool blue trim. Very stylish!

Major redesign and they totally missed the mark - laces continually come untied, shoe runs much tighter than previous models - very disappointed I have to find a new running shoe

Like the wide toebox which also has “give” so my forefoot and toes don’t feel compressed. Shoe in addition to good cushioning provides stability and a neutral last—both important to me. Brooks doesn’t seem to be skimping on the width like the Asics Gel Nimbus, which I used to buy, did. I have a high arch and very little padding on my feet, so I still have to insert a custom pad to take some weight off my forefoot area. Otherwise, right foot develops painful corns. I also insert a custom EVA pad because of no-cartilege right knee. The extra inserts require a man’s shoe (I am a woman) in the widest width that is 1/2 to 1 size larger than my true shoe size. Brooks Ghost shoes still look good enough for everyday wear, and don’t draw negativecattention, and are comfortable.
I'd also recommend:
I also have Hoka OneOne Bondi, Brooks Glycerin, Nike Zoom, Drew Flash?, SAS Traveler?

Fit perfectly. Lighter and more comfortable than the 13. Took 3 mile break in run , then ran half marathon. They are awesome!

I have been buying the ghost model for over 8 years and this is by far the most ill fitting version of the shoe. Purchased in my usual size, the toe box was very narrow causing immediate pain during jogging at moderate and higher intensity speeeds. The material itself was good, just a poor fit and design. Disappointing!

Finally found a shoe that fits my foot perfectly. Amazing cushion and support, still has tread after 100 miles of road and track runs/walks.

Great shoes. I use them primarily for exercise (walking/running), but these are also great “all day” shoes. I tried a few other brands and some different brooks models, but the ghost 14 was by far the most comfortable and were so the second I put them on (without any special insole). I have wide feet that are not flat/have some arch. I am so impressed, I decided to get a second pair.
